I have seen many of your videos, but I didn't get clarity on this. When we are recording audio, the voice cannot be continuously recorded, there will be some gaps between them. My doubt is whether these gaps should be deleted before applying the effects or after applying the effects. This one is not covered anywhere in your videos. This is also a part of editing.

The gaps can be deleted before or after the processing. Or you can delete some gaps before and some gaps after. It depends on the situation.
However, if you need to achieve certain level in Peak or RMS, deleting gaps after processing may alter the values. In that case, you may need to Normalize once again after deleting the gaps after processing.
