We recommend a safe a tech or a locksmith but if you want to tackle the job of resetting the combination on your mechanical lock yourself, here's how we do it...
The corporation that bought Liberty needs to immediately sell the company to a new ownership that will guarantee that they will never give out the MRC without all the proper legal warrants. Or even pledge to destroy all the MRC's on file.
Just make sure you try the combo out many times before locking the door. You will actually void the warranty on the lock if you get locked out of your safe. I've changed many combos and I try it 5 times before I dare to lock the door. When it comes to the electronic locks you are stuck with it having a reset code. It's almost a necessity that the reset codes are held by the safe companies. People forget their combos and people die. The cost to drill out a safe and replace the lock is 500 and up.
As a safetech for a living it's USUALLY not that much and a good tech doesn't need to replace the lock if done correctly. typical charges $450 open decoded & repaired
Wow, yeah this is going to end up biting Liberty safe in the ass and I hope it does. Unfortunately I own 2 and I can’t afford to purchase two different ones because of that, would I reach out to Liberty to get that key or is that something that I can purchase from you cause I’d rather do that fuck Liberty Safe
It's amazing how you are on top of this, I was going to actually reach out to you today about this. Thank you
Excellent video. Definitely a serious breech of trust by Liberty Safes.
God bless 🙏
Great video! Thanks!
Man are you on time with this video. Still love my untouchable 55 I got from you years ago by the way .

What is the key hole on the front for?
It’s for a day use key. It’s not an override on that lock.
Does a safe exist that has 2 doors, but only one opens? Random question.
What about a group 1 S&G any difference?
It's close to the same depending on the Group 1 type. I'd still look at the directions for the particular lock though.
What if you have a 4 number combo?
then it would be a different.
