Hi Rae, I finally got this gel and attempted another wash and go… it worked!!! I previously had given up, but after I kept rewatching you, I decided 1 more try.
I love all my NLS and although I don’t like crunchy, I took your suggestions and my hair looks great and not so crunchy. You taught me hair to maintain my wash and go ( your technique) and I thank you so much for helping another sister ❤

Hi Rae I finally tried my NLS entire wash day products and I wanted to comment on the video that corresponds with what I am about to say 😊. I have actually used the okra gel and avocado leave in 3 wng’s (3 weeks) in a row and OMG I got one of my best wng’s each time. This will definitely be a staple combo and will stay in my rotation as long as I get these results 🤗🤗. Now I need to save what I have left 😂 of my okra gel so I never run out until I restock. Thanks for the recommendation. I love your honest reviews and will be listening forever and ever lol

My hair is very dry. I am loving how moisturizing the ingredients of this gel sound. I ordered it with their Juneteenth Sale. I know I will have to use a harder hold product on top of it but that ok; my needy hair always gets 2 holding products 😂.

Great wash and go results! I like the fullness you received and your definition level. I have bought the okra gel too and will be trying it in the coming weeks! I think I am going to layer the irish moss styling cream underneath. I love alot of moisture under the gel. Thanks for sharing this combo!

Your hair always looks great and this was no exception 😍 I tried this gel with the banana leave in ( I'm not a fan of the avocado's smell) and even the Irish moss cream and both wash and go's came out awesome!

Definitely gonna try this the ingredients is perfect for my high porosity hair only difference I can’t do anything on soaking wet hair falls right through has to be damp not wet my best wash n gos and hard for me to get flakes so yea perfect thank you!

How many days did it last in the heat?
It lasted my normal 4 days before I restyled, but it still looked good and felt good. It could've lasted longer, I just don't do 7 day wash and gos.

Hi Rae I took your advice and purchased the prepoo and avocado leave in and the gel and I received the 12 oz size. I have not tried them yet but will update once I do. I am 1 year in from my big chop and new to the natural hair journey and have been trying different products. I am using up my stash as I was turning into a product junkie lol

Hope you like it! I would try it without a topper first because the definition and hold stays longer than you think. If you try it and it's not strong enough, then I would top it the next time. Just my thoughts.

@@NaturalRaeRae I used the Banana Leave-in because it is more lightweight than the Avocado moisturizer and I wanted to see how moisturizing the Okra gel would alone before using it with a moisturizer. My hair doesn't feel dry but it doesn't feel over moisturized either. It's hard to explain. I don't feel like I need to add moisturizer (which is good) but I can't necessarily feel the product on my fingers when I touch my hair if that makes sense. The next time I use it I will try it with the Avocado moisturizer, not because I feel like my hair needs it but just to see how it feels with a moisturizer under the Okra gel. My hair is also 'flowy' and yet still defined. I am really impressed with my results. I do wish I had more shine but I wish that with just every product. The natural color of my hair always makes my hair look dusty/dull unless I use oils with my styles.

You know I love your channel! I just don't understand. How often do you cut your hair? My hair does not just keep one length like yours. And the color?!whatndye do you use? Love ya!
I don't color my hair. Depending on the products, the lighting, etc., my hair may seem darker at times, but it always has the grays. I don't use a color in my hair unless it is a temporary hair paint wax or something like that. I have not done that for years, but I do plan on using one soon. I cut my hair when I want to. I try to keep it trimmed and shaped a little so it may seem like it's not growing, but trust me it is.
