I've heard you mention during Rest or Active Recovery swims that you focus on drills for swimming techniques and what not.. for people who are terrible at swimming laps like myself how much emphasis should you put on technique when starting out versus reaching your workout thresholds?
As someone who is still very much a novice in the pool, drills help a lot! I used to find myself exhausted after just 50 yards and then I started incorporating drills to fix technique and I found I could go longer and faster. Simple stuff like board drills, practicing breathing out of both sides, single arm laps, etc. can really make a huge difference. I still have a long way to go but technique goes a long way in the pool.
We brave the elements! Way to persevere 🏊🏻♂️🚴🏻🏃🏼
NO WAY a little rain is holding me back. Thanks for the encouragement!
