The head of India cartoon industry said that if tom and jerry somehow continued for 2 more years in India, then no indian animators could earn their livelihood .i.e all indian cartoon shows would have been flopped .

Tbh . They didn't die in Blue cat blues because The truth is just that William Hannah stopped producing episodes and focused on a different storyline. In an interview Hannah said that no one died due to that train hit as Tom jumped out at the last moment and Jerry was too small to get hit by that train.
