I'm Ridingfish,
I ride an @Indian_Motorcycle Pursuit- I bought it at INDIAN MOTORCYCLE OF St. Paul. They are my home dealership, but as you find on my channel, I have worked with many different dealers around the USA.. My favorite thing about this UA-cam thing is that I love growing the motorcycle community! Meeting and hanging out!! Ride Hard,

The 112 Power Plus Roadmaster will be a very worthy replaced with my Victory Cross Country Tour.
I’ve been subscribed for a couple years now and I own a Harley. Love the videos weather it’s stereo competition or all your rides, India, pikes peak, sturgis and the info videos are great as well. If you ever make it to Laconia I’ll make sure to stop and say hi.
My guy!!! You are a legend and I appreciate you and the support!!! 🙏 Thank you very much! I do need to make my way to that side of the county!!
I am curious of whether or not the radar, hill assist breaking, blind spot and other safety/rider upgrades will be able to be added to our older Pursuits/Challengers? Good stuff Brother!👊 I will never trade in my 22, but damn Indian makes it hard not to want the new Pursuit/Challenger? Time to save money and start rationing meals, pause all driving of cars, and get the wife to ride a bicycle to work, no clothes shopping,, and turn off the electricity and go to candles and wood stove...😜
@@dysfunctionalveteranese4905 hahahahaha.... I think it would take a lot to retro fit all the new stuff! Unless I didn't see the sensors..lol idk 😐 😕
We need more money!
I have 2018 Indian Chieftain with my 65000 miles on it. It great and way ahead of time bike on the market. With all LED lights, mono rear air shock, power windshield, and push roads Thunderstroke 111 stage 2 cams, it my absolute cruising experience. Top ten! This new Powersplus Chieftain with way more technology then mine and better wind protection then Challenger is everything you need for the rest of your life, period. And OHC engine, with operating 7200 RPMs is performance cruiser ( bagger) winner!!
I prefer the thunderstroke engine air cooled 116
Theres still a rumor floating around a 122 Thunderstroke is coming. That's what I'm waiting for. Thats 2000cc
Me to.
Well done Fish! Keep dropping Videos, and keep dropping that sexy music.
@@TheGoodbabies will do thank you!
Interesting..... When I purchased my '17 RM the Sales guy told me the lip around the fairing helps in windy days. On fork mounted fairings as you know Wind tend to mess with some riders. Well I've noticed on newer Indian fairings the lip is gone. So hmm??? Another great Video Fish!!! PS I don't like you.... I want one now LOL.
I'm very concerned about the future of the Thunderstroke motor. Some people don't want the Power Plus motor. The bugs should've been worked out by now, but you can put all the bells, whistles, and exhaust on a liquid cooled Power Plus and it will never sound better than an air/oil cooled Thunderstroke. So just like Victory, they'll go with 2 engines for a year or two, then suddenly the Thunderstroke will be gone. On that day I'll be very, very sad.....
@MaxJW-ln4xm , I think they will keep with both if them for a while.. it was not that long ago that the guy that found IMC vin coded a 122 air cooled motor!! Now when we see that?!?! That is going to be the real question!
@Ridingfish
Yeah, I pray that is the case. I, too, have heard that next model year, there is supposed to be a factory 121/131 Thunderstroke, but in what model(s) ?
Absolutely.
This gets me excited Fish. I like excitement.
FINALLY!!!!!!!
I can’t wait to test ride that new Chieftain. Will be awesome if they would do the power plus engine on the new super chief RT.
In the case of slow speed maneuvers, the rear brake is used to stabilize the motorcycle. Will the new linked brakes screw this up?
@@jlducey I'm in talks about interviewing an engineer on that topic
Finally!!!!!!
This announcement is killing me. My 2022 Dark Horse Icon is sweet... and its still like new. Now my brain is gonna hurt trying to fight off the temptation to trade it in.
Harley calls it RDRS, Indian calls it smart lean technology
I use the terms interchangeably.
I always liked the Chieftain as much as the Challenger. I like the raked front end. That weak 116 was a no go for, especially because the 108 was great. Now it's a tough call. Am I wrong, or does it look like the Chieftain is on the Challenger chassis now, with the frame mounted fairing swapped out for the fork mounted? It still looks cool, I just loved the front end of the old Chieftain. Reminded me of David Mann pics from old Easyriders mags I grew up with.
Their press release stated that the stage 1 air cleaner and the slip-ons added power. Any numbers confirmed yet? 130 hp? I'm down!!
Have you been check for adhd.
This is nothing but disappointing news for this indian fan. It's great that indian innovates and has pushed HD and they've done a helluva job of that. Between the powerplus and all this new tech on the darkhorse model, there's nothing left to get me in the door and thanks to indian, as of 2024, HD does. I want an American bad ass machine and it must have an air cooled vtwin to fit that description IMO.
You want an air cooled? If so they are still offer them... Just to be clear.. the Chieftain will be sold in both platforms air cooled and full liquid cooled!! But if you're referring to pricing I believe they are pretty dang close dollar for dollar..
@Ridingfish
I missed that in your vid and i was listening, hoping to hear it. Good news for the time being, the trend is concerning tho. Including all the new rider assist tech. I know you said you can get it without all that crap, but it sounds like it's part of the darkhorse trim? It would be nice if that could be spit up..... did I miss that too!
So the CVO has Brembo brakes?
Nice
😊
I hope HD don’t duplicated some of the features that Indian has
@tabootaboo384 what ones don't you like?
