- Short trip out metal detecting, prospecting, and rockhounding in the desert for Gold nuggets
We used the following metal detectors
Minelab GPX 5000
Minelab Gold Monster 1000
Fisher Gold Bug 2 New Style - Розваги
That was a good one. As far as the shirts go, I kind of favor BD’s USA shirt ! And I have got to get the brand name of his floppy hat, my sun protection zone hat is Worn out. Keep up the good work.
Polyurethane Shirt... Fn Hilarious @Boulderdash.. what a great video guys... 👍
Happy Thanksgiving !
What an awesome trip. I think foxes might be your spirit animal lol. You have inspired me to get back out there with my detector and I am headed to San Domingo tomorrow.
Good luck ! Get off the beaten path if you can
Makes it clear that in order to compete with the fisher gold bug 2 the Equinox 800 needs a frequency update to 95! Great little gold sir!Great video you guys are big fun to watch.
Ha ha, good luck out there !
Ok but the eq 800 is so much more than a gold machine how about Gold monster or the Nokta 2000 Nokta au (has buttons like bug but waterproof ) or the kruiser Nothing wrong with GB2 just comparing Apples to Apples Eh
@@zrbsrbija So, im here to find gold only, so the Gold Monster would be my choice. The 2000 sounds good but i have never used one.
Great job all around fam. Keep on having fun getting that au fam. Gold squad out!!!
GREAT TRIP!!! CHEERS from Idaho!
Thank you so much !
Always enjoy.
Good to see you guys scoring on some of that Eric Over Burden..ar ar
"Gold prospectors make the bed rock!"
I saw Boulderdash and his lovely wife at the Gold show in phoenix. It was nice seeing you there and I hope yer Goldpan keeps turn'n yeller! RAW
Very much enjoyed! In your spare time lol.....make a gully buster.....3' x 3' steel frame with railroad spikes welded pointing down and rocks for weight....will double for a welcome mat! We use a bigger version on the farm 🍻. I'll trade you three oats for your two grains...🤝
Ha ha , I’m sure my apartment manager would enjoy that ! Always good to hear from you, and thanks for watching
Good gold Billy Jack
Lil fox liked it some kelbasa, sucker got him a belly full and slept got the next day I bet!! Nice video Adam thanks all ya do
lol Thank you Sir !
Nice work BD. 👌🏻
Good video enjoyed watching you use the detector on new ground south on my hometown.
Think I will try my hand with a old Goldbug 1 before for it gets to hot.
Its a classic detector with modernized parts in it of course. Good luck out there !
Excellent!
I LOVE the Gold Bug Metal Detectors!
I'm in quartzsite now. I'll stay here a few months prospecting. I'm excited.
Excellent !!
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK I'm starting to see the only real way to dig for gold is with a tractor. Using GM 1000 or a sluice box in random areas isn't going to amount to much gold.
I'll give you a location of gold and silver coins (I'll never get out there) for a 60/40 split (40 me). You'll have to work it in a grid pattern, and probably a detector that goes deeper than 12 inches
Great job👍
Thank you 🙏
Good times , going to start getting incinerated soon out there but means drywashing to,can't wait! cool video and shirt dude! Dance off😂
Yep the heat is right around the corner
Luv a goldbug2 it can find that glitter gold
Another fantastic video and BD is a nugget maniac! I am driving down to Morristown on Sunday from Vegas hoping to score something out on a RR claim. Fingers crossed!
Excellent and best wishes !
So I'm not the only one getting skunked 🤨
I've been hunting in the Stanton area for the last month.
But it's always nice getting out in the desert 🏜
Boulder Dash sure has some yellow pickers in his poke!
Good to see y'all again...
Hi Aaron, Stanton has been hunted forever but you could still turn up something. Thanks for watching
Two grains is better than being skunked Adam, love the camouflage shirt!!
Ha ha , yeah I guess so . Thanks for stopping by ! 👍
Great job, we had 2 vehicle engines shuck last summer, just got them back in January. Got snowed in and totally bummed missing the 1st gold season in 11 years, but reserved spot for next yr, so God willing we'll be swinging next winter. You guys keep me primed, thanks a bunch.
Hey , thanks for tuning in !
Gold bug 2, a classic gold catcher! Love the videos man, great work out there!
Thank you !
See you on the next one 👌
Thanks so much !
Awesome adventure! no risk, no reward!
Wow if it's picking up pieces that small that metal detector might actually work in my area that I go lol 😆👍
Ill let you use mine anytime In Ohio Swaink claim or anywhere from Knox and up to medina
@@zrbsrbija I have the address for that claim just haven't been there I usually go over towards Mansfield area and around Ashland tomorrow I'm heading over to the klee claim maybe see you out there someday ✌️
fun fun fun
Another great video. That fox is pretty cool!
Thanks for tuning in !
Gosh I wish I knew were at least about where you guys were at i've been doing this for four plus years and still have not found any gold oh boy.
Quartzsite is a unique place. I found a quartz/gold specimen way up on top of Granite mountain. Eyeballing. Well, placer miners make the bedrock, drift miner make it a hard rock.
Oh Boy , Id like to find a nice specimen out there !
I spent a week out there last year but never did find gold, found some big crystals though! It’s really cool to see how it’s done out there in the desert, good job guys!
Not an easy place to find gold but it is there
Great work
Thank you so much 😀
Dang Guys! Nice little bits! Heading out to Quartzsite in a week or so for a couple days to dry Wash and swing the Monster! Hope I at least make my gas money back to Kingman!
But better yet, for that 1 ouncer!
We have a killer claim near Kingman . Lots of big nuggets and small stuff if your looking for your own slice of an I brake for bedrock quality type ground.
@@wadewilson6097 ...listening.
@@thetinman5030 contact I brake for bedrock.. His info is in the about section I believe.
@@wadewilson6097 who's selling it you or Adam?
@@thetinman5030 both of us
Also, do you do or can you do, a live Q&A on AZ prospecting?
I may set that up sometime, but I would want boulderdash involved if he’s available.
Do you think that mine was the source of the nuggets ? Good looking ore ! Hey, thanks for the adventure. Perfect weekend for it ! BTW, we have friends just moved to Wickenburg. Maybe we can meet sometime near Congress or Quartzsite? Best of luck out there !
The Mine was just some random mine we came across looking at new ground. Was not anywhere near the gold. It was likely a copper gold producer.
When are we going to go Prospecting together?
👍🇺🇸
Omg it’s so cute 🥰 what was it eating?
Sorry but it was to tempting to give her some pieces of hot dogs.
What’s interesting is that they are more interested in food than water, in a place that has no water.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK I’m glad you were tempted that way I got to see it 😍 And that is very interesting regarding the water
Hi guys. Newbie Mike here. I live near yarnell and am surrounded by gold country. Most of it seems to be state or private land. My question is how do you guys know what kind of land you were on once you are out there. I see mixed grids but don't have enough information with maps to find the exact spots. How are you guys finding your spots GPS if so where do you get your coordinates. Thanks
I navigate in my mind. But I look at google earth imagery with land manager overlays.

Was that nugget again? I think you guys just go out there to feed the fox lol. Thanks for the video. Good luck diggin!
Ha ha , yep that was nugget
What's the cheapest most effective metal detector for finding gold in the desert? I'm in Yuma and been looking for a new hobby without investing thousands on a metal detector
I would just pick up a Minelab Gold Monster 1000. It comes with 2 different sized coils , its rechargeable I think, and its like 950.00
Goldbug two or a Goldmonster. 800 to 1000. Great Gold detectors! RAW
@@rawartwork1 Gold Monster
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK thanks for the info!
Hey- So when you visit places like Quartzite, a place widely open to the public via campers/RVers, do you have to go to BLM areas, known and permitted claims or just wander into the desert? Thanks in advance!
Generally, I have a little research done first to see where mining leases are , then I hike the un leased areas. Boulder dash and I also have an 80 acre claim out there that will be for sale in a few months.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK thanks so much. That’s so valuable for those of us new to the craft. Common sense would say check for claim ownership but for us rookies, it’s need to know info. So thanks for the info, patience and advice! It’s truly appreciated.
And the videos are GREAT!
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK oh, and where can you search for claim/lease ownership for AZ?
@@kellykathymcdaniel7834
You’ll need to learn how to use www.Mylandmatters.org
And the BLM’s MLRS reporting system
