Actually it’s question 13, not 10, so there. 😂 Thanks for pointing that out, I watched that part of the video numerous times while editing and didn’t even notice it.
17/20. Been doing Duolingo for 517 days. 😁 I set myself the challenge of learning Welsh for a significant birthday. 🤣🤣 My favourite sentence to come up was I left my saxophone at the hospital! 😳. I've never figured out where on earth I would ever use that. 🤣🤣 I really enjoy your lessons too. Hoping to be able to escape England this year and get back to our favourite Welsh places. 🤞🤞
Wow I know very little Welsh, only speak very basic phrases and learn it causually but I managed 19/20. Love this channel da iawn and diolch yn fawr. 👍❤️ Cymru am byth
16/20 - Doughnut, raspberry, jellyfish and sponge bob square pants got me. On the translator it is sbwng bob pants sgwâr sbwng. Why would it have sbwng at the start and at the end?
I grew up in South Wales but never like actually applied myself to learning the language - only recently found it interesting, but I must have absorbed a bit because I got around 15 right Though, some of them are literally written on the floor 😂
Does anyone know of a welsh pen pal exchange. I would like to write to someone to practice writing my welsh. Or is anyone here welsh/know someone whose welsh and would like to be a penpal to help me. practice?
@Jane Rowena, do not be down as you got more than 50% CORRECT 👏! That in itself is a major achievement; the beauty of this is 'we' all learned something as my tutor never taught us TEISION for cake as she taught us CAKEN which I strongly believe is either North, East or West Wales Welsh as it is not South Wales Welsh! Gumraeg will drop one day and before you/I know it 'we' will be competant/fluent. 🏴
@@Dave_Cymru thanks for the encouragement but actually my big problem is the fact that I live in North Wales and am getting very confused with the North South divide in terms of language. Some of the words presented there were a bit random anyway so I am not too concerned. It would be nice to have the words written down too as I learn best with both.
When I found out about moron being the welsh for carrot I would call my sister a carrot so no one realises I was calling her a moron
😂
In Sweden moron means morning, so when you meet up at work you are greeted with "moron, moron!".
That part about carrots was my favorite 😂
Hello , I love your videos Jason
Diolch/Thanks Cian!
WTF is that doughnut-burger concoction? Is that seriously a Welsh thing? I think I'm having a heart attack looking at it. :-) Ych-a-fi!
"question number 10 is eira".... "So what's the word for "snow"?" 😅
18/20!! I'm on my 61st day on Duolingo and I'm loving your language 😊

Enjoyed the Vid. 12 right!
15/20 A bit annoyed with myself for getting those 5 wrong, however well done to all of us that took this test honestly! 🏴
nice video, there a lot of new words to learn. I got 15/20 though a few of them were guess
I'm delighted to say I got 17 largely thanks to video channels such as yours Jason. Didn't get Jellyfish or Doughnut. That was fun. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed the quiz. Well done. That was a good score.
Enfys, spelled envis in Swedish means stubborn! Got 19 out of 20, did not know the word for doughnut.
14/20. Gweddol. Diolch Jason

I got 19/20. I didn’t know the real word for jellyfish 🤣
To my surprise I got 16/20 right! I missed Ladybird, Snail, Doughnut, and Jellyfish. I got Spongebob correct. 😂
