One of my favorite GDQ moments was watching Andy die on his zelda run and the announcer said "can we read some donations because we have already seen this before?"
I've watched older Demon's Souls speedruns before and it's cool how many new techniques have been found with the remake. Also very sweet "360 no-scopes" with the Soul Ray. :) Trying to use any ranged attack without lock-on is such a nightmare, but he makes it look easy.
i really hope the activity card feature is used and abused by devs in interesting ways. something like needing to use it in a puzzle game, to get yourself back to a certain area. otherwise, love seeing this game broken all over again.
That's a terrible choice for a speedrun. First of all, you would need to have 1-1 in pure black tendency which would be a big waste of time. (or farm it from the knights which is also not speedrun viable.) Secondly, magic is faster because of how OP you can easily and quickly become. Melee speedruns use the Dragonbone GS as soon as they get access to it.
Cannot believe what a downgrade this game is from the PS3 version. Watching this and seeing how they massacred the tone is so upsetting. Great run though!
No, it wasn't. King's Field's only similarities are 1) Made by FromSoft 2) It's fantasy. It has no on death mechanic, you just load from a save like every other non-souls game. "Being difficult" doesn't make a game a soulslike, otherwise Battletoads would be a soulslike.

I'm surprised he doesn't go for Guillotine. This weapon is very easy to get, and completely OP.

It depends how the run is routed. It might change to include that
Magic is broken. You stack magic damage from the wespon and ring. Then you get more mana, health, and Stam. This was casual build and it was broken.
