I love this ride. It's my favorite at Lagoon, mostly because it is able to accommodate fat people like me with no problem. It costs extra, but it is worth it. It's thrilling, but you're surrounded by a sturdy roll cage, so it's not like crap your pants scary. I have been on much worse. It is one of the most enjoyable rides though. If you ever get an opportunity to do it, go for it. Unless you absolutely can't take heights, you won't regret it.

I am the other way around. I love the catapult, but I won't do the skycoaster. Hurtling straight toward the ground without a roll cage is not my thing haha.
Cannibal is scarier, IMO. But I also don't think that one is overly scary. The problem is, I am borderline on the size limit, so when it goes into the inversions with me scrunched into the seat, it's a little unnerving.
