The WORST Way To Solve A Rubik's Cube
Вставка
- Опубліковано 23 жов 2020
- Most of the time, I try to teach the best ways to solve the Rubik's Cube. But in this video, I'm going to show you what I think is the worst way. Instead of doing U, what if you did z U2 L2 U R2 L F2 R L' U2 R' D2 R D2 R U2 L R' F2 L' R2 U' L2 U2? And better yet, what if you did EVERY move with that alg? What you get is the monstrosity that I had to overcome in this video.

"And here Brody did an incredible algorithm to do that U to get that layer to turn and this is how he got the YTWR for MMC 3x3.
Hi Tingman!
@@BrodytheCuber lol that's a good one
Me too
And with the WCA looking at this video, they announce that BrodytheCuber holds the new world record of MMC (most move count).
Without a doubt
Tell that to non cubers attempting to solve the cube everyday no stopping for 3 years
It would be disqualified
Btw just incase you don’t know FMC doesn’t mean “Fewest Move Count” it means “Fewest Moves Challenge”
@@bm1x718 yes, and I think the worst ever OFFICAL fmc is 400 moves
No one:
That guy:"He still beat my pb"
That is too accurate
He still beat my pb on 11 x11
He did beat my 6BLD PB.
A bit faster than my 5BLD pb
He still beat my 1x1 pb.
Congrats on the new PW but that was probably just a bad scramble. I think you need to do at least an ao12 to confirm that this is really the worst way to solve a cube.
An ao100 is the only real way to determine the worst way to solve cube.
Really the only possible way to get conclusive results is to do an ao1000 that’s the minimum
@@bm1x718 nah he should do this for his lifetime and then after 5 years of cubing he should show the results :)
Hehe, personal worst
hehe, this is still funny.
But why do that alg on every move when you can to that alg on every move of that alg?
But why do that alg on every move when you can do that alg on every move of that alg when u can also do that alg on every move of that alg on every move of that alg?

It's not possible
But I also thought about it and realized my stupidity
Movecount: infinity
That's how non-cubers think how to solve the cube
very true
@@fooshyquack1736 did you get a screw loose? heres what my mind was like when I was a non-cuber: make all the sides all at the same time, but then I'd run into a problem; I'd have to break the sides I already made-- and that made it impossible for me.
sure, not everyone is the same, but I don't think a non-cuber would do somethiing on the cube to then undo it after.
now do that alg for every u move in the alg
Are you trying to kill me? 😂
dude that actually left me mindblown...
*OH U PERMS TRIGGERED*
pretty sure that diverges to infinity
@@BrodytheCuber I did the math, and if I’m not mistaken, that equates to 108,445 turns.
If we devide 108,445 by 60 (the average CFOP move count), we find that 108,445 moves are the equivalent of 1,808 CFOP solves, which is actually quite manageable. For reference, Patrick Ponce said he became color neutral in 1 week by doing 10,000 solves per day. This means that it is possible to do such a solve 5 times in one day.
In conclusion, doing such a solve is very feasible. Brody, you have no excuse to not do an average of 5 like this.
Don´t count his moves. Instead count how many times he says "Okay" before doing a painful sigh xD
According to J Perm's scoring metric, U gets a score of 2.5, and U2 L2 U R2 L F2 R L' U2 R' D2 R D2 R U2 L R' F2 L' R2 U' L2 U2 gets a score of 31. You just unlocked a new high score for cubing.
Did you count the regrips and overworking?
And it's at that moment... he knew... he forgot to turn on his camera
When you got to the last move, you would've had a better time if you didn't do the alg, because then you'd get a +2 and the alg took more than 2 seconds.
The title is the worst way to SOLVE a cube, not the worst way to get a +2.
@@thenamelessdragonfish But it still counts as a 'solve' in an official competition.
@@teaperm3549 okay but what I’m saying is they might not know that.
The best way I've ever seen to learn an algorithm
Not gonna lie, he should use that as his main method. It fits him very well and he doesn't get frusterated at all.

@Cubing Encoded are you in?
There is almost no one in the world who can do 4700 pullups in a single training

@@BrodytheCuber I don't know him, but I'm a pretty advanced calisthenics athlete (for sure better in calisthenics than cubing😂) and I know only one person who could (Tazio Gavioli the human butterfly, he holds several guinness wr for pullups related stuff).
Welcome to Brody pains himself once again by implementing a useless 3x3 challenge in order to get a pack of gum in UA-cam revenue
Hooray!
well i mean you could make 3 to 5 dollars for every thousand views you get, so that means he made around 108 to 180 dollars from this video
Lol this definitely deserves a lot more likes.
looks like a good way to break in a cube
Lmao
How do you break in a cube? I'm not sure if I've done it before. plz, help.
To break in a cube, just smash it on a table with a hammer. Hope this helps!
Lol- breaking in a cube isn’t something that you really choose to do- it is when you have done lots of solves (or moves in this case) and the cube will gradually get better from when it is out of the box. You would normally only say break in on big cubes tho because a 3x3 piece designer is so simple and doesn’t really change from moves
FMCubing lmao I was joking.
Thanks,I just beat my pb by a whole minute, this was a helpful video 👍
14:37 imagine if he messed up that algorithm
Makes my brain hurt more than watching a campaign debate-and I am a cubing parent not a cuber!

The worst part is that there's a U in the algorithm, so you have to nest it until eventually you just decide to do U`3
Cool vid dude! I like your channel!
To make it longer you should do it so that if you are doing the F in the alg you should do F3
