I feel that you should have done some research into a kingdom builder game on mobile. So you could have saved yourself the disappointment. Mobile games are very different from PC or console game as people want to pick it up and put it down so they can have a life at the same time.

It’s Clash of Clans / State of Survival / etc dressed up in a different skin. Not remotely close to classic AoE. Therefore, a massive disappointment and not worth playing.

Let me guess: Build a barracks takes 23 hours 59 minutes, speed up the process with 300 gems! Why get into strategy game like this when you can buy *Bad North* which is amazing for mobile. I would recommend Warcraft Rumble for mobile but that's a greedy game too that's been milking nearly 100 dollars from my bank account and I've yet to see myself beating the PvE game despite grinding daily for nearly 2 years. Definitely not looking to jump into another pay to win, but I guess there's an audience for this kind of games from those first time phone buyers.

I think this would've been better game as autochess. Just mixing up units like spearmen while giving some bonuses based on your chosen leader. Maybe throw a spell or two in the mix and it'd be solid pvp short fun game. Of course these companies want people to throw 2000 dollars for a game that's continuously begging money so we can't have that.

What a disappointment, I was expecting age of empires not some typical mobile cash grab game. As a big fan of age of empires, right from the start, It just didn't look or feel like age of empires at all. There was no zoom, I couldn't select each unit, I couldn't even simply tap my unit and tell it where to go but had to drag it in an uncomfortable way, and there aren't even any individual units at all but groups. What the hell is this? It's not age of empires that's for sure. Uninstalled.
Don’t complain about mobile games being pay to win, that’s about 99% of any relevant mobile game, the only mobile games that aren’t pay to win are either an overall trash game, or a game that’s been out for a long time.. and you really don’t have to invest an insane amount of money, it’s nice to have a few members who dump a ton of money especially your leader but if you invest 100-150$, about the cost of a special edition version console game, it’ll put you in the top 10 players in you region, I only invested 160$ and I’m the #6 player in overall power in my region. And strategy certainly does come into play when facing another powerful alliance with many active members being able to melt Citadels, strongholds, Alliance flags, and other structures around the map fairly quick, if you want a more fast paced gaming experience then I recommend you invest in a PC or modern console

It's easy..... this game is not for people expecting the normal age of empires mechanics.. it's free.. it's made for everyone to play and to buy in game stuff... this is the one thing I hate about big and popular games coming to mobile... I'm expecting a pc version for mobile... and we never get it... happened the dame with league of legends wild rift... I wanted a PC version for mobile....but no.. they needed to make a game just like the other mobile games... with the same concept... the league of legends wild rift did it.. and now age of empire did the same... it's no different from other "strategic" mobile game....

If you have a grand that you don't need for at least a year sure it's fun to bully f2p players, after 1 month after everyone catching up that's where the money grind come, I had fun beating whale alliance, they were almost top up after we beat them that made they become top players based on power 😂😂😂

The 2D polygon animations are cringe. Game mechanics is awkward. Extremely disappointing for an AoE product. I get their P2W formula but I think they need to go back to marketing basics like P4Q or Paying for QUALITY... Never thought I'd be nostalgic for QUALITY content but here we are. I blame Farmville for this domino effect. lol
