Here are some tips and trick, hopefully you read through these so you can survive longer then me and my friend did: 1. Do not sleep, it will add points which will make phases (evolutions) go up faster. Kill buglins (little larva thingies that resemble a silverfish) in order to keep them from turning into Rupters. Get a farm going, get some cows, chickens, pigs or anything that could get infected and isolate them from the rupters. Get some crops going too. It'll be useful in the long run. 2. Phases 1 and 2 are okay-ish but from Phase 3 it gets VERY problematic, my friend and i played on Phase 3 and our world immidieatly got infected with their biome. There's a total of 8 phases. 3. Try to do fire damage to the parasites it deals more damage to them when they're on fire, also: killing Adapted/Primitive parasites (the special kind of parasites) with fire decreases phases. Build lures out of: Assimilated heart, assimilated lung, etc. To stop the Phase Points from going up for some time (From 10 seconds up to 1000 seconds). You'll have to figure out the recipes on your own. 4. Assimilated enderman (also called Simmerman) can go into water and will teleport Assimilated enemies to you. A pain, but if you use a shield you'll be able to fend off against him. 5. Build a floating base above a lava pool. Adapted/Primitive parasites will try to lunge attack you and will fall into said lava pool. But beware: A certain parasite can spawn in your base and do that "Wave" attack you got killed with last time (the one at: 0:15) and can spawn Rupters (the ones who infect) and Simmermen (Assimilated endermen) can teleport enemies up there. So i suggest using a gun on that thing, exactly what i did to get rid of it. 6. If you cannot build above a lava pool i suggest building somewhere in the sea/ocean, since the biome won't get infected and you'll be safe. But be aware that there are flying parasites who might be able to get up to your base. 7. If the biome gets infected it's time to move your base. Do not stay there as more and more and more parasites will spawn and it'll get annoying real fast. Only way to get rid of the infected biome is a: Hoe, TNT, Fire, Killing beckons (which are a pain if you let them become beckon stage 3 - 5.) and killing the big tentacle like parasite. Although be warned: The biome will spawn incomplete forms (which can form into Primitive parasites (the special kind). Flamethrower is also a good weapon for this. 8. Using fire is one of your best options, it does 4x damage, there has been some changes so I'm editing the next part of this comment, parasites on fire have a ~10 percent chance to fail to adapt to a damage type, mobs that drop heads and buglins still drop when on fire ,if on fire beckon and summoner biomass will spawn on fire there's a lot more but I don't feel like writing an essay in a youtube comment

Well the phases are like a evolution system every phase adds more parasites and makes them stronger. At phase 3 they will begging to attack anything. Also in phase 3 your biggest enemy will spawn: The Assimilated Enderman. He does a lot of damage and will spawn other assimilated mobs to attack you with him. There are much more phases so I suggest you watch a review video. Also one more thing. There is a block (I forgot it’s name) that can remove some points but it Dosent do much. Anyway there is to much to cover to talk about it here so I suggest you watch a review video
@@chezzburger886 I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure lures (the point reducing block) can reduce phases, although it cannot go to the negative phases that stop parasite spawning.
Assimilated Endermen are balanced as always; ~ More damage than a vindicator ~ Outruns a Sprint + Jumping player ~ Aggressive Shaking and speed gives it an armor class of 27 ~ Faster, more durable (55 health!) and more frequent teleporting than a normal enderman ~ Immune to Ranged Damage ~ Not only unaffected by but *Even more* deadly in water ~ Can teleport allies ~ Stronger than a primitive parasite ~ Appears as early as phase 0 ~ Apparently this is a "skill issue" on the player's part
To be a little nerd here, if a dweller (any modded mob or mob that has no parasitic version) gets infected, it will turn into an incomplete form, sometimes parasites will drop their heads and if a head and incomplete form merge it will form the original parasite again ( assimilated human head + incomplete form = assimilated human)
14:38 It uses whatever you have in your offhand if what's in your main hand can't be used. In this case it couldn't place the cobblestone because you were in the way, so it placed the torches instead.
here it's a tip: create a base in a remote area like above ocean even though there only 1 underwater parasite and that's assimilated squid & assimilated enderman are immune to water, by using weird blocks which may not be get corrupted, in the old versions that being furnaces or obsidian but things can't get corrupted if there is no beckon .... just make a base in the nether idk but take the essentials like food to farm, trees, cobblestone generator , maybe villagers if you can speedrun to find some. 2 size blocks base. for no assimilated enderman (standing up) coming to you with an army of assimilated mobs. btw that ONE is phase 1 out of 11 evolutions of your world, the more they infect by: killing , spreading hive just by walking around mobs , corrupting mobs and other activities you do like sleeping. adds points to the system + to next phase, killing beckons can give negative points to devolve and parasites can disguise as passive mobs & spread COTH "Call of The Hive " nearby, if they are low health or higher phase they reveal themselves.
Underwater bases are OP. It makes it too ez as well. You can camp in the water if theres 17 adapted reekers and an adapted bolster that invaded your home
0:15 as someone familiar with the scape and run mod, this is a wave, it can come from either the host or a attack from the long arms, it does a lot of damage, and since you were trapped in your house, you couldn’t escape it and it killed you. If I had to guess it was from the host going inside the house

you should play the Sculk Infection mod! it's really really really well made, we've got hiveminds, sculk ecosystems, sculk raids, sculk beehives, purifiers, new Sculk Blocks, and the infection truly feels alive and intelligent, the Skulc Endermen are a menace, they're like Sculk Captains and like killing a wither, and there's much more it's really challenging and has a lot of depth! it feels like a true realistic apocalypse, and i'd LOVE to see you play it!
I hope this will help a little: Buglins will spawn in dark areas (little black silverfish), and after a bit more than a minute, they will hatch into rupters (little tentacle cutie). rupters will infect other mobs with COTH (call of the hive), an effect that turns animals/mobs into parasites. If you get them low on health, if an assimilated human gets a certain amount of kills ( this goes for most assimilated parasites) it will turn into moving flesh. 4 moving flesh will turn into a primitive parasite, they can destroy blocks. After a certain amount of kills they will turn into their adapted version, basically just a big health and dmg buff. Should be everything you need to know for now :) Edit: In the early game, a shield is your best friend. In mid game, use lava buckets for the big guys (primitives/ adapted parasites). When coth is aplied to the player, it will turn you into a parasite once you die.
Call of the hive is what parasites can infect mobs with, but it mostly doesnt matter if players have it, only spawning a parasite from the player if they die with the debuff. If an animal gets it it can spread it to nearby animals and other mobs, but not through walls.

Yup. I remember watching the first youtubers back in 2012 and then they started going crazy, freaking out and getting pissed at everything cuz they were forcing themselves to do too much. I told em stop and take breaks. Ya gotta be reasonable with any job/hobby. Ya can't break yourself and expect to be able to keep going. Be sure to take care of your real life and your health. Loved the video @Vivilly! Can't wait for the next video man! While fighting the Parasites, you'll need to be careful about the Spots where you kill infected mobs. The Blobs that'll spawn upon their death will either spawn more parasites or infect the Grass, Dirt and Stone Blocks (all Stone Types as well) and allow for a Beckon to start growing. From what I remember over on @Sbeev's Channel, the Beckons act like Spawners for the Parasites and can get up to level/teir 4, with a Light Gong sound be heard as it progresses to each level/teir. The one thing you usually don't want to face is a Level/Teir 4 Beckon, as you'll invariably get swamped with Parasites that you're only hope of dealing with them is to dump Lava onto them and get ready to kill any Parasites that might try to fly up to you like a Hot Air Balloon. There should be an Add-on for the Gun Mod by Mr.Crayfish that allows you to make Stuff like the AK-74 Assault Rifles, SKS Rifles, SVD-63 Dragunov Sniper Rifles, RPK-74 Squad Automatic Weapons, PKM Machine Guns and The RPG-7 Rocket Propelled Grenades and AGS-17 "Plamya" (Flame) Automatic Grenade Launchers as well as their international counterparts. If the Parasites mod was updated for the Latest Versions of Minecraft, I'd recommend adding mods like the Create Mod (and related Mods within the Create Simulated Project) as well the The Valkyrien Skies Mods so that you could build some Vehicles, Ships and Aircraft to fight the Parasites with. Now I'm just Imaging you and your Friends and Fans building Tanks, Transports, Artillery and Anti-Aircraft Guns and even Destroyers, Light and Heavy Cruisers, Battleships and Aircraft Carriers in order to fight the Parasites LMAO! Finally, using the Dyes in Minecraft with the Leather Armor, you should be able to represent actual Military Uniforms or Create your own uniforms. You should be able to see the RGB Values if you have the Debug information active and just hover the Mouse cursor over the Dyed Leather Armor. There's a Mod that allows you to wear 2 Sets of Armor, one on top of the other. I remember seeing it on the "X-Life SMP" Server and I'm still going through Dangthatsalongname's videos to try and find the name of the mod. Hopefully that's been Updated to the Latest Version of Minecraft though, but if it's still available for 1.12 Minecraft then you should still be good if you have that along. From what I can tell the Crayfish gun mod weapons have the same projectile properties as an arrow, meaning sim Enderman can dodge them, I suggest using techguns. Though it's harder to get weapons, they prove more useful against the bugs

Ok so heres some tip from my experience with the mod: - Sleeping increases points, however contrary to popular belief sleeping early on is usually more beneficial since it only adds 5, whereas if you wait out the night more and more parasites will spawn and gain more points - Early on, rupters will only attack in groups, so if you spot one alone kill on sight - Killing buglins on sight is a good idea so they dont evolve, unless you want to farm rupter drops for lures - NoCube's parasite addons, specifically the combat one can be nice for keeping you alive - Kill endermen on sight, you cant risk them getting infected - Fire deals 4x damage to parasites, and can prevent the bigger ones from adapting - Killing parasites can reduce points, but cannot decrease the phase, this can only be done with lures - Lures are most effective immediately after a phase increase, as it will decrease the phase and parasites have a 20 minute cooldown on point gaining - Parasites spawn in the dark, once youve chosen a place to live make sure to light up all nearby caves - If you want a stronger (allbeit more complicated) gun mod tech guns is the way to go, it adds good armor and tons of guns, however i would recommend turning down its mob spawns in config - If you do choose to use techguns, you will need some other tech mods to power the machines (e.g. EnderIO, Mekanism, Thermal, etc) Thats about all i can think of right now, good luck and hope this helps
As someone who had a channel that took years to build up I can agree 100 days videos are such a waste of YOUR precious time as a human being, my normal videos get 340k views but the two 100 days videos I did which took me a month to edit by the way and burnt me out for a week got 1.3 million views. I did not have fun, I got frustrated, annoyed and felt dead. That 1.3 million views did nothing to me emotionally other than crying because I was glad it was over with. I no longer do 100 days videos because if I did 6 videos a week at 340k views roughly each that is 2,040,000 views from all 6 in a week verses 1 a month at 1.3 million...I enjoy my 30-40 minute videos I make, I have fun, I get to just chill and there are actually videos I have that are 3 hours long feel like a stream but I just didn't feel like editing and still get 270k views on those videos because many enjoy long content that is just chill. Do not ever do something you don't enjoy because you want subscribers and views, it will hurt you in the long run as a person editing and making content and your viewership because you'll get burnt out and hate what you're doing therefore videos will be done less and you lose all those subscribers anyway. So stick to what you love and let time take over~
0:19 I think I can explain this, a wave is actually the ability of a primitive and adapted long arms (probably primitive) there must’ve been one that could have seen you through the blocks you placed…that little screech with the gas is something more dangerous parasites do for…some reason I’m not so sure myself but I’m pretty sure that’s what caused it
You should make some barbed wire fences to help protect your house! I think they're included in a mod by SketchMacaw called More Fences or something like that. Good GRIEF those Assimilated Endermen!
I probably replayed the part where Vivilly screamed very high pitched and then blamed a "girl" in his room like a billion times. I swear it gets funnier every time I relay it.
Here's some tips: 1. NEVER sleep. Sleeping adds Points to Phases, and can greatly speed up the parasites 2. Shield is your friend in early game, but don't use them after phase 3. Primitive and Adapted can easily destroy your shield and you don't want to see a Reeker close. 3. I suggest to get Spartan Weaponry i Spartan Shields, these mods add really good weapons and shields. I use Glaives personally, they don't do that much damage but they have good range and sweep. Greatswords and Hallberd are also an exellent choice. 4. Use Lures. Weakest Lure can be crafted with 6 cobblestone and 2 Rupter viscera, and that removes 2 points.. not much but it can slow down the Parasites. 5. I also suggest Inventory Pets. Really fun mod that adds Pets in your inventory with a lot of different buffs. 6. Sometimes leave a parasite alone. You don't have to kill everything. Sometimes it's better to leave it alone, trust me. 7. If you hear Enderman's teleport sound do this: - build a 3 block pillar - build a roof - build 2 walls - get your best gear There's a big chance that you will survive, because Enderman can't teleport mobs into spaces it can't fit. So, just kill all the teleported mobs, and then just finish it off. It will get hard if the Enderman is crawling but with a shield and an axe you will be able to survive. This mod is hard, may feel "unbalanced" but that's the point - add more mods if you still struggle and play efficiently. Use the terrain and build functional bases. Good luck!

At 00:16 if you were still wondering what that Wave thing that killed you was, it's an entity about 3x3 wide entity with a very short hitbox sometimes created by a Longarms and maybe the Host. That whooshing sound you heard before was the creation of it, in which case the Longarms would swing their arms widely and spawn one. I think it's supposed to represent a shockwave? Usually the ground where the Wave moves is supposed to have a bunch of the ground particles flying around which I didn't see here. I'm guessing there was a Longarms pushed against the blocks in a corner near your ladder and it summoned the Wave directly on top of you which I have never seen happen before, because I am usually able to run through a doorway and it's too wide to follow. F3 + b to see hitboxes if you want to see the Wave yourself. Edit: I should also mention that the Wave is one of the few entities in the mod that ignores the invincibility you get after being hit, so it can hit you 20 times a second.
The wave death was caused by a parasite called "Host" it looks like a pillar like flesh mound with skulls sticking out, it has an attacking called "wave", which does 2,5dmg per 0.05~ seconds. very balanced.

So from experience your best friend in this mod is anything fire related since all of the parasites take extra damage to fire/lava the guns and vanilla weapons are good but during the later phases most of the parasites will have a resistance feature where if they take damage multiple times to a certain thing for example an iron axe they will become resistant to any iron axe and some parasites evolve after they get a certain amount of kills
also, this infected enderman teleports other infected mobs to the player. and that one in chat means parasites grow stronger eventually it reaches 7 at max as far as I know and some parasites grow underground then break their way to surface. if you make a let's play world you'll see new cave opening over and over
The guns mod make the parasites much easier to be killed however the guns kriptonite is the endeman or mainly the assimilated enderman. Also, yeah you need friends to play this mod and they must also be at least a professional at handling the parasites at the later stage can break block except harder block like obsidian or modded reinforced block.
There is a big balance issue with the Assimilated Enderman. There is a config file for the mod that you can easily edit to change any variable in the mod so you can nerf the Enderman there (you have to do this, it's almost impossible to beat them otherwise, though using a shield works well)
What killed you last time was a wave from a host, it does huge amounts of damage fast, it looks like particles coming out of the ground but can also be a host. Hosts, however, are much worse and you already have died to one.

But beware: A certain parasite can spawn in your base and do that "Wave" attack you got killed with last time (the one at: 0:15) and can spawn Rupters (the ones who infect) and Simmermen (Assimilated endermen) can teleport enemies up there. So i suggest using a gun on that thing, exactly what i did to get rid of it.
6. If you cannot build above a lava pool i suggest building somewhere in the sea/ocean, since the biome won't get infected and you'll be safe. But be aware that there are flying parasites who might be able to get up to your base.
7. If the biome gets infected it's time to move your base. Do not stay there as more and more and more parasites will spawn and it'll get annoying real fast. Only way to get rid of the infected biome is a: Hoe, TNT, Fire, Killing beckons (which are a pain if you let them become beckon stage 3 - 5.) and killing the big tentacle like parasite. Although be warned: The biome will spawn incomplete forms (which can form into Primitive parasites (the special kind). Flamethrower is also a good weapon for this.

Using fire is one of your best options, it does 4x damage, there has been some changes so I'm editing the next part of this comment, parasites on fire have a ~10 percent chance to fail to adapt to a damage type, mobs that drop heads and buglins still drop when on fire ,if on fire beckon and summoner biomass will spawn on fire there's a lot more but I don't feel like writing an essay in a youtube comment

Some tips Try not to sleep as it will add points which will make the phases go faster. What are the phases you may ask? Well the phases are like a evolution system every phase adds more parasites and makes them stronger. At phase 3 they will begging to attack anything. Also in phase 3 your biggest enemy will spawn: The Assimilated Enderman. He does a lot of damage and will spawn other assimilated mobs to attack you with him. There are much more phases so I suggest you watch a review video. Also one more thing. There is a block (I forgot it’s name) that can remove some points but it Dosent do much. Anyway there is to much to cover to talk about it here so I suggest you watch a review video

To be a little nerd here, if a dweller (any modded mob or mob that has no parasitic version) gets infected, it will turn into an incomplete form, sometimes parasites will drop their heads and if a head and incomplete form merge it will form the original parasite again ( assimilated human head + incomplete form = assimilated human)

here it's a tip: create a base in a remote area like above ocean even though there only 1 underwater parasite and that's assimilated squid & assimilated enderman are immune to water, by using weird blocks which may not be get corrupted, in the old versions that being furnaces or obsidian but things can't get corrupted if there is no beckon .... just make a base in the nether idk but take the essentials like food to farm, trees, cobblestone generator , maybe villagers if you can speedrun to find some. 2 size blocks base. for no assimilated enderman (standing up) coming to you with an army of assimilated mobs.
btw that ONE is phase 1 out of 11 evolutions of your world, the more they infect by: killing , spreading hive just by walking around mobs , corrupting mobs and other activities you do like sleeping. adds points to the system + to next phase, killing beckons can give negative points to devolve and parasites can disguise as passive mobs & spread COTH "Call of The Hive " nearby, if they are low health or higher phase they reveal themselves.

I hope this will help a little:
Buglins will spawn in dark areas (little black silverfish), and after a bit more than a minute, they will hatch into rupters (little tentacle cutie).
rupters will infect other mobs with COTH (call of the hive), an effect that turns animals/mobs into parasites.
If you get them low on health, if an assimilated human gets a certain amount of kills ( this goes for most assimilated parasites) it will turn into moving flesh.
4 moving flesh will turn into a primitive parasite, they can destroy blocks.
After a certain amount of kills they will turn into their adapted version, basically just a big health and dmg buff.
Should be everything you need to know for now :)
Edit: In the early game, a shield is your best friend. In mid game, use lava buckets for the big guys (primitives/ adapted parasites).
When coth is aplied to the player, it will turn you into a parasite once you die.
Primitives do not adapt to damage, that's their second form (the adapted parasites, thus their name)

If your worried about mod mobs breaking glass I would recommend fence's or trap doors as Windows instead of glasses
Call of the hive is what parasites can infect mobs with, but it mostly doesnt matter if players have it, only spawning a parasite from the player if they die with the debuff. If an animal gets it it can spread it to nearby animals and other mobs, but not through walls.

Loved the video @Vivilly! Can't wait for the next video man! While fighting the Parasites, you'll need to be careful about the Spots where you kill infected mobs. The Blobs that'll spawn upon their death will either spawn more parasites or infect the Grass, Dirt and Stone Blocks (all Stone Types as well) and allow for a Beckon to start growing. From what I remember over on @Sbeev's Channel, the Beckons act like Spawners for the Parasites and can get up to level/teir 4, with a Light Gong sound be heard as it progresses to each level/teir. The one thing you usually don't want to face is a Level/Teir 4 Beckon, as you'll invariably get swamped with Parasites that you're only hope of dealing with them is to dump Lava onto them and get ready to kill any Parasites that might try to fly up to you like a Hot Air Balloon.
There should be an Add-on for the Gun Mod by Mr.Crayfish that allows you to make Stuff like the AK-74 Assault Rifles, SKS Rifles, SVD-63 Dragunov Sniper Rifles, RPK-74 Squad Automatic Weapons, PKM Machine Guns and The RPG-7 Rocket Propelled Grenades and AGS-17 "Plamya" (Flame) Automatic Grenade Launchers as well as their international counterparts.
If the Parasites mod was updated for the Latest Versions of Minecraft, I'd recommend adding mods like the Create Mod (and related Mods within the Create Simulated Project) as well the The Valkyrien Skies Mods so that you could build some Vehicles, Ships and Aircraft to fight the Parasites with. Now I'm just Imaging you and your Friends and Fans building Tanks, Transports, Artillery and Anti-Aircraft Guns and even Destroyers, Light and Heavy Cruisers, Battleships and Aircraft Carriers in order to fight the Parasites LMAO!
Finally, using the Dyes in Minecraft with the Leather Armor, you should be able to represent actual Military Uniforms or Create your own uniforms. You should be able to see the RGB Values if you have the Debug information active and just hover the Mouse cursor over the Dyed Leather Armor. There's a Mod that allows you to wear 2 Sets of Armor, one on top of the other. I remember seeing it on the "X-Life SMP" Server and I'm still going through Dangthatsalongname's videos to try and find the name of the mod. Hopefully that's been Updated to the Latest Version of Minecraft though, but if it's still available for 1.12 Minecraft then you should still be good if you have that along.

From what I can tell the Crayfish gun mod weapons have the same projectile properties as an arrow, meaning sim Enderman can dodge them, I suggest using techguns. Though it's harder to get weapons, they prove more useful against the bugs

Ok so heres some tip from my experience with the mod:
- Sleeping increases points, however contrary to popular belief sleeping early on is usually more beneficial since it only adds 5, whereas if you wait out the night more and more parasites will spawn and gain more points
- Early on, rupters will only attack in groups, so if you spot one alone kill on sight
- Killing buglins on sight is a good idea so they dont evolve, unless you want to farm rupter drops for lures
- NoCube's parasite addons, specifically the combat one can be nice for keeping you alive
- Kill endermen on sight, you cant risk them getting infected
- Fire deals 4x damage to parasites, and can prevent the bigger ones from adapting
- Killing parasites can reduce points, but cannot decrease the phase, this can only be done with lures
- Lures are most effective immediately after a phase increase, as it will decrease the phase and parasites have a 20 minute cooldown on point gaining
- Parasites spawn in the dark, once youve chosen a place to live make sure to light up all nearby caves
- If you want a stronger (allbeit more complicated) gun mod tech guns is the way to go, it adds good armor and tons of guns, however i would recommend turning down its mob spawns in config
- If you do choose to use techguns, you will need some other tech mods to power the machines (e.g. EnderIO, Mekanism, Thermal, etc)

As someone who had a channel that took years to build up I can agree 100 days videos are such a waste of YOUR precious time as a human being, my normal videos get 340k views but the two 100 days videos I did which took me a month to edit by the way and burnt me out for a week got 1.3 million views. I did not have fun, I got frustrated, annoyed and felt dead. That 1.3 million views did nothing to me emotionally other than crying because I was glad it was over with. I no longer do 100 days videos because if I did 6 videos a week at 340k views roughly each that is 2,040,000 views from all 6 in a week verses 1 a month at 1.3 million...I enjoy my 30-40 minute videos I make, I have fun, I get to just chill and there are actually videos I have that are 3 hours long feel like a stream but I just didn't feel like editing and still get 270k views on those videos because many enjoy long content that is just chill. Do not ever do something you don't enjoy because you want subscribers and views, it will hurt you in the long run as a person editing and making content and your viewership because you'll get burnt out and hate what you're doing therefore videos will be done less and you lose all those subscribers anyway. So stick to what you love and let time take over~

You should make some barbed wire fences to help protect your house! I think they're included in a mod by SketchMacaw called More Fences or something like that.

I probably replayed the part where Vivilly screamed very high pitched and then blamed a "girl" in his room like a billion times. I swear it gets funnier every time I relay it.
you could use the wiki of the parasites mod to learn about the mod and phases and how it will actually infect your world
Here's some tips:
1. NEVER sleep. Sleeping adds Points to Phases, and can greatly speed up the parasites
2. Shield is your friend in early game, but don't use them after phase 3. Primitive and Adapted can easily destroy your shield and you don't want to see a Reeker close.
3. I suggest to get Spartan Weaponry i Spartan Shields, these mods add really good weapons and shields. I use Glaives personally, they don't do that much damage but they have good range and sweep. Greatswords and Hallberd are also an exellent choice.
4. Use Lures. Weakest Lure can be crafted with 6 cobblestone and 2 Rupter viscera, and that removes 2 points.. not much but it can slow down the Parasites.
5. I also suggest Inventory Pets. Really fun mod that adds Pets in your inventory with a lot of different buffs.
6. Sometimes leave a parasite alone. You don't have to kill everything. Sometimes it's better to leave it alone, trust me.
7. If you hear Enderman's teleport sound do this:
- build a 3 block pillar
- build a roof
- build 2 walls
- get your best gear
There's a big chance that you will survive, because Enderman can't teleport mobs into spaces it can't fit. So, just kill all the teleported mobs, and then just finish it off. It will get hard if the Enderman is crawling but with a shield and an axe you will be able to survive.
This mod is hard, may feel "unbalanced" but that's the point - add more mods if you still struggle and play efficiently. Use the terrain and build functional bases.

For number 7, the enderman can crawl into tight spaces, so if the enderman's reinforcements can't get you, the enderman will still kill you.

At 00:16 if you were still wondering what that Wave thing that killed you was, it's an entity about 3x3 wide entity with a very short hitbox sometimes created by a Longarms and maybe the Host. That whooshing sound you heard before was the creation of it, in which case the Longarms would swing their arms widely and spawn one. I think it's supposed to represent a shockwave? Usually the ground where the Wave moves is supposed to have a bunch of the ground particles flying around which I didn't see here. I'm guessing there was a Longarms pushed against the blocks in a corner near your ladder and it summoned the Wave directly on top of you which I have never seen happen before, because I am usually able to run through a doorway and it's too wide to follow. F3 + b to see hitboxes if you want to see the Wave yourself. Edit: I should also mention that the Wave is one of the few entities in the mod that ignores the invincibility you get after being hit, so it can hit you 20 times a second.

The wave death was caused by a parasite called "Host" it looks like a pillar like flesh mound with skulls sticking out, it has an attacking called "wave", which does 2,5dmg per 0.05~ seconds.

Put slabs or carpets on all of your floors. It prevents the assimilated enderman from teleporting itself and it's allies into your house.

So from experience your best friend in this mod is anything fire related since all of the parasites take extra damage to fire/lava the guns and vanilla weapons are good but during the later phases most of the parasites will have a resistance feature where if they take damage multiple times to a certain thing for example an iron axe they will become resistant to any iron axe and some parasites evolve after they get a certain amount of kills

also, this infected enderman teleports other infected mobs to the player.
and that one in chat means parasites grow stronger eventually it reaches 7 at max as far as I know
and some parasites grow underground then break their way to surface. if you make a let's play world you'll see new cave opening over and over

The guns mod make the parasites much easier to be killed however the guns kriptonite is the endeman or mainly the assimilated enderman. Also, yeah you need friends to play this mod and they must also be at least a professional at handling the parasites at the later stage can break block except harder block like obsidian or modded reinforced block.

There is a big balance issue with the Assimilated Enderman. There is a config file for the mod that you can easily edit to change any variable in the mod so you can nerf the Enderman there (you have to do this, it's almost impossible to beat them otherwise, though using a shield works well)
What killed you last time was a wave from a host, it does huge amounts of damage fast, it looks like particles coming out of the ground but can also be a host. Hosts, however, are much worse and you already have died to one.
