I also got the Falken RTR, brass weights, with black Impact wheels. Ordered up the 1800kv SE on a black Friday special. getting everything lined up for a complete tear down and rebuild. Great video, can't wait to see your Falken rig out on the trails
I chuckled when you mentioned that you lacked a general trail truck and that your collection was all performance comp builds because I'm pretty much the exact opposite. I have nothing but trail trucks(SCX10's, TRX-4's, Enduro's, etc.). We moved from WA to MO, and now I have practically zero rock crawling spots. However, I have land, so I began building a rock course in my yard. I realized that it was a little too challenging for most of my trucks, so now I have a reason to do a performance crawler. 😅
I just finished my VRD Carbon kit, and I have been reworking my Phoenix Ground Fox, both are running the HW Fusion Pro. I am really considering getting a Fordyce in 2024 to add to my VP Collection. As for the VRD Carbon I am so pleased with how the build went, and really anxious to get it out for a drive. It snowed here the day I finished, So I am thinking of heading down to some indoor rocks this week to get some runtime in, unless we get a good melt before I get out. 🖖

Thanks for the great video. I have the Falken coming in in a few days. What first upgrade would you recommend? Funds are limited as you can imagine right now. I was thinking dual-stage foams. Opinion?
Foams aren’t a bad option. My first if I had to choose one would be steering servo
