People didn't believe me when I said Felicia would win so many comps and call out all the bullish!t in the house. Guess who are silent and are the clowns now.... BB fans....
Funnily enough, Derrick has actually admitted in post-season interviews that he wanted to throw the week 3 HOH. Meaning that he and Nicole both won that HOH completely on accident. lol But the fact that he was able to handle that accidental HOH so well is arguably even more impressive to him as a player.
Same with Xavier, the plan for most of the house including him was to throw it to Sarah Beth but there was a stumper question in the quiz that everyone else got wrong and he accidentally got right. As boring as his reign was, he knew how good of a spot he was in and played the week in a way that got the least blood possible on his hands while using his position to improve his relationships.
Already went over how the 2nd HOH reigns weren't always so terrible for BBCAN, but now that this video is out, how do *3rd* HOHs work for that variance? Well in BBCAN1: Tom was the 3rd HOH and his week was a complete shambles, with him isolating his alliance, using power to SAVE potential targets just to "ensure" Suzette went home, only for a twist of Canada's Veto to save her and cause him to unfortunately backdoor Aneal, and he got evicted next week so...immediate bad start. BBCAN2: Ika...ouch, same level of bad. She tried using her "girl's alliance" to oust another girl in Heather, but put her up against "pawn" Paul, someone the entire house had turned against the last week, and her plans completely blew up in her face due to the First 5, and also got eliminated the next week...again, not looking good. BBCAN3: Technically we have 2 different ones. Kevin, who dealt with an instant eviction, which didn't do much to hinder his game to be fair, and then Brittnee who actually had a similar run to the BBUS winner, totally turning the tides on the power of the house, evicting Graig, so FINALLY looking up. BBCAN4: Loveita, who narrowly dodged being evicted the Week prior, now had 2 options: take another swing at the power couple Jared/Kelsey, or try to win power with them by getting out a floater. She chose the latter, targeting Cassandra...and again her target didn't go home, and through all the fights she had with Cassandra that week, she didn't help her case in cementing good relationships in the house, at least not all around. BBCAN5: Neda...as bad as her run went, I'll admit her HOH did help her side earn more power. Also ironically the 2nd time a 3rd HOH targeted Cassandra in that week (weird coincidence). BBCAN6: Hamza, made a big move in targeting Jesse, which actually succeeded, but didn't seem to do much for him in the long run, as he went home shortly after. BBCAN7: Chelsea, who helped the Pretty Boys side, and even with a successful backdoor of Kailyn, was evicted the next week on Dane's HOH. BBCAN8: (not really fair, since the season got cancelled, but for the hell of it), Sheldon....damn, I can't gauge this week, as I think things work out for him either way had no other HGs been eliminated (Minh-Ly or Rianne going helps his game), but then that whole house meeting occurs getting out Jamar and Kyle, so I can't call his HOH successful either. Though not entirely due to him. BBCAN9: Victoria, who did have a badass HOH reign, which should've cemented how you don't screw with her, similar to Vanessa in BB17, but too many big moves and untrustworthy notions caught up with her, so she went home as the first juror. BBCAN10: Kyle Moore of Twitter.....hoo boy, do I even need to say anything? HOHitis, turning on obvious allies, bad choices for pawns, wrong target going home, gets evicted next week....complete trainwreck, and I loved it. BBCAN11: Kuzie (technically week 4, but she was still the 3rd HOH of that season). Surprisingly the Best 3rd HOH in BBCAN history, and again her week actually went according to plan, while also being iconic. She goes home as a mid-juror, but that was due to Ty being Ty and always being safe. She technically did improve her game, as well as her alliance's positioning, so I can't hold this HOH against her. So yeah, BBCAN's track record for 3rd HOHs is...abysmal. Entertaining, but ABYSMAL! It's kind of a spectacle!
Yep 100% agree, i have always said if i were to win an early game comp it would have to be the week 3 hoh. The reason being more than likely the house dynamics are almost set in stone so its easier to make a decision that could benefit your game trajectory, while also making it clear that you as a player can be a force therefore making your houseguest think twice before coming after you. Unless its your enemy
“Being first HOH is dangerous” Angela got 6th “Being second HOH has a curse. You never win.” Chelsie won. “Week 3 HOH winners always succeed” Cedric got 13th.
I would love to see players like… Ika, Xavier, Dan, Boogie, Janelle, Britney, Ian, Michael and others similar to there play style play in a season together. Would be an epic watch 💯
Rachel also won week 1 HOH so I would count her as week 1 HOH winner. I did some statistics a while back and most winners won week 1, 3, 6, or 7 HOH as their first HOH. Week 1 and 6 are tied each having 5 winners who won it that week for the 1st time followed by week 3, and 7 with each having 4 winners that won it that week for the 1st time .When it comes to vetoes most winner win week 6 or 9 POV first. Average veto wins for a winner is 2 rounded up from a 1.6 and average HOH wins for a winner is 3 rounded up from 2.7. Average BB winner wins 4.3 or 4 challenges. What I noticed is that since the longer seasons most winners were winning comps later in the game. If it was a 13/14 cast season and 75 days, I'd say go for the week 1, or 3 HOH. Now that we have 16/18 player seasons with 90+ days it's better to go for the week 6 or 7 HOH and POV. The times we see a week 3 HOH winner is when they have a large dominant alliance like Xavier, Dick, Derrick etc. If you aren't in the dominant alliance don't go for the week 3 HOH, or any early HOH. Play the long game, lay low, and strike mid season.
I am still annoyed by how Bridgette’s HOH on BB18 turned out, not just because she should have taken Brontë off the block knowing Frank had the roadkill power but also because she basically got screwed over due to association with Frank and in a cosmic way Paulie too! I wish we had a timeline where Bridgette regained footing in the house after the prejury phase but alas, she was just extremely unlucky that Frank and Paulie turned out to be pretty misogynistic in the house!
It makes me so sad that Izzy and Cerie are deciding not to flip. It’s so irritating because I really liked Riley. From the second he stepped into the house, I couldn’t stand Hisam and all his “right”s.
@@ethanalba7875 me toooo! I didn’t really like Reilly preseason, but now, she’s one of my favorite female houseguests of all time. She’s grown on me soooo much!! 😍
I think the biggest problum for her in week 2 was that the only way for her to stay safe (aside from hoh, because veto is basically a lost cause) was that if the people that could've saved her (Jared, jag, and the bye bye bitches alliance) felt comparable to make a big move to save relily, she would've stayed. It's not those people's fault, but they had to pick your battles, and they thought now wasn't the time
@@tripledsupset7301 it’s dumb because Riley was not opposed to working with anyone in that house besides Hisam. Riley couldve been saved. The 5 is now 4. Once far enough, the bye bye bitches + Jared will pick off jag, Matt, probably keep blue. Just back and forth.
Oddly, in BBCAN 6/10 of the week 3 HOHs were evicted pre-jury. And Neda/Victoria were first jurors. The only week 3 HOHs to have success in the game were Brittnee and Kuzie.

i think bridgette is an underrated player, with her situation making it to juror #2 or #3. just wish she didn’t follow frank, but after frank left her solo reign was decent.

I'm actually enjoying how chaotic the house is rn. I know some houseguests don't have the best personality, but this level of confrontation is something I haven't seen in a while. These early HoH's are set up to really change the season considering how flexible the groups are being.
Just a point about jessie but he really would have done very well in bb11 since we saw him use him hoh to keep roni who he used as a shield the following week plus we know that if the coudeta hadn't been used russle likely goes home so the other side wouldn't have had the numbers to take him out if he had gone up at any point after it.
