Great idea but I don't think it's feasible, respectfully, for her own safety and security. You have to remember that we believe in her and we love her but there are others out there demonic forces that would be against her and they might try to slip something through the mail to her that could hurt her or delete her. Yes they can't pass the legislation though until they have a new speaker that's been voted in. That's the very first thing they have to do tomorrow with the new Congress is vote for a speaker. Then once they get the speaker they can vote for that legislation to increase the number of people that would be necessary to remove the speaker. I just watched the Tarot by the Bay video about whether Johnson will be voted in as speaker. Made me laugh out loud, because the first card was the ten of swords.
This is how I see the situation.
The Maga extremists in the house are rejecting Johnson because he's such a weakling. But the only speaker they will accept *is* a weakling, someone who will submit to all their outrageous, unworkable demands. Of course that goes nowhere, which is fabulous for all of us who want the certification to get delayed.
Anyone who has watched the House for the past two years understands that those extremists have no interest or skill in governance. They just want to create lots of big headlines by being annoying. Maybe they believe that misbehaving gives them power, because they've watched Trump do that very successfully.
There's just one problem with that.
Trump has charisma and they don't. A dozen people all squawking like idiots while dashing around in different directions --that's just pathetic chaos.
P.S. I also see Jeffries as speaker, but via a different route: when the House flips to Democratic control. I don't expect we'll have to wait for the midterms for that. I actually see it happening very soon, perhaps after the election steal is revealed. Interesting times...
