Coming back after watching 2nd episode of the series to see how much things have changed. Comparing what is shown in this trailer and the series, I am really glad that the actual series shows a more lived-in environment, making it much more believable. Everybody's look has been improved as well. I can truly feel the love and passion that have gone into this production.

It’s because this is just a mock up trailer. GMMTV presents their show lineup at the start of every year and they needed something to show on what to expect at the annual event. The actual production will later follow and the screenplay and some casting might change. You can see the kids are different.
They usually air the trailers for their shows for the following year at the end of the year and then they start filming. Due to Corona those plans got delayed but we are still in 2020 so please be patient as this wait is normal for GMM series.

I'm watching this old version of the trailer after ATOTS final episode was aired tonight. Really this series has changed the BL world, it was not the typical college or high school setup. Kudos to the whole team and kudos to GMMTV for always giving us quality series!
The shot where Torfun looks at Chief Phupha, then the camera goes over his shoulder to reveal Tian is amazing, especially after the release of the MV of Aye's version of the OST. It's the fulfillment of Torfun's wish, "that my heart would always be close to yours".

can I say this? but I think GMMTV hit the jackpot when they got Mix and Win to play Tian and Tine... damn these two... 😭 one for a romcom and one for a heavy drama, I cannot wait.
Honestly I think they are not fit for this role, an older person portraying these characters would be good. I'm not saying their acting is bad, I just mean we need new people and people with good experience.

Reasons why we need to anticipate this series - A TALE OF A THOUSAND STARS: 1. THE STORY. It will give us not only the unconditional between two boys but a lot of life lessons as well. It is unique, heartwarming, and dealt with contemporary issues in society. It might become an eye-opener for a lot of people. 2. THE CASTS. The series has a good casting. After watching some of Earth's previous series I can tell that he's a versatile actor but the role that he always gets is underrated, and it saddened me. When it comes to Mix, even though it is his first series I can see that he's a good actor based on the trailer. GMMtv was so lucky to have Win and Mix because they are born to give us a fresh taste of BL series. 3. THE CHEMISTRY. The chemistry between Earth and Mix was overflowing. It came out naturally. And the fact that Earth personally requested Mix as his partner in this series adds more spice in my delusion. Their height difference was so cute and I admit that it's a captivating sight to see. Just standing beside each other emits so much feels. The blend of Earth's manly feature and Mix soft youthful face was so perfect. 4. THE DIRECTOR. Backaof Aof Noppharnach is a very creative director. All of his series was worth to watch and he put his heart into it. It's also a good thing that he's an experienced director and at the same time a writer. When you put these two qualities together it will result in a beautiful outcome. 5. THE CHALLENGES. This might be the most important thing that we need to wait. How will they make this series without arising issues concerning military previsions? As everyone knows, the author of this series posted that the character occupation may change as a forest ranger since the military in Thailand is a big issue. The series may use in political propaganda and it's not good. But changing this detail may as well affect the original flavor of the story. That's why I'm badly waiting for this series to know how will they bring this story into life. I'm sure that this team was already pressured because a lot of people are looking forward to this series the moment they drop the trailer. If they put their heart into this, they might tie-up or even surpass previous high rating BL series, believe me! I'm praying for this project's success :)
Don't forget their ost too, it's sooooo freaking gooood, it makes the series remarkable, and i am soo addicted with their ost right now, even if its not aired yet. The chosen song really fits the feels of the series. And if you have seen what is the meaning of the song, it's so deep and beautiful. Same to He's Coming To Me, which is also directed by Backoaf, the ost is sooooo goood and it's one of the best and very unique bl series of 2019, yet very underrated. 😭

I'm sure if they could finish the trailer by October then they could have finish about half the series and by now they could have finish most if not all of the series. There are rumor going around saying that the director of this series is also the director of the new series ( the continuation of 2gether) "still 2gether". Still 2gether suppose to come out late 2020 and the director is putting still 2gether first because the series was popular. I dont know if this was true or not but this could be the reason. I'm hoping to see this series soon thou because it seem interesting.

I just finished watching the latest episode and I came back here to see the changes. One major addition that I liked was in the series, Tian is not only a delicate guy from the city, but he is also quite spoiled, very rich, and a bit of a 'bad boy' in the background. In this trailer, there is not much to Tian's character (which is understandable since it is just a trailer), so I'm really glad they did such a good job of fleshing out his character in the series, because I feel really invested in seeing his growth. 😊

For those who are curious, the director said that they will start filming once the rainy season passes. So this will most likely air towards year end earliest. The director's definitely given a lot of thought and care into this project since it took him awhile to create a satisfactory script from the novel. Really hoping that they will take as much time as they need to deliver the perfect story. Pretty sure the whole team is aware of how highly anticipated this series is, anyways. The director sure does.
According to Google, the earliest the rainy season ends is in October. It they are filming in the southwest, then this would be after November or December. (People better versed in Thai geography could probably tell where in Thailand they are probably going to shoot at and make a better estimation.) Considering post-production and all the likes, early 2021 is a more reasonable estimation for a release date. I think that was why GMM pushed forth I'm Tee, Me Too and Thonhon Chonlathee. One of these could have been a last minute project or a project scheduled for later pushed up to fill up the time slot this was suppose to take, Regardless, the events of this year threw a lot of things off schedule. Still, I can't wait. This really does have a very interesting story line and a lot of potential. As long as they air it eventually, it could be a very big thing in the industry.
I remember watching this trailer and thinking that it somehow touched my heart more than other trailers, so I waited more than a year for it. I remember thinking that I just hope the show is half as good as the trailer. After that I didn't watch this trailer for a whole year. Now I'm back a day before the final episode, and my heart genuinely actually physically ACHES while watching this because now I know the whole story. Turns out the show is even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. It's so stunning and so sweet and just such a beautifully told love story. It really exceeded all my expectations. And I see that a lot of moments here aren't a part of the actual show, but they somehow still feel like they tie into the whole story so I'm glad I watched it again. This show will always have a special place in my heart not just among BLs, but out of all the tv shows I've ever watched. The wait was really really really worth it
This series was so beautifully made that it has set a benchmark for all the future series of any genres that i'll watch...it is filled with warmth, bittersweet moments, friendship, love , what does community livining feel like and more importantly life lessons that I took away after watching this....it was one of best slice of life stories (after violet evergarden) for me :)

The following is the information about this series that I got. They will start shooting on 21 Sept 2020. Yesterday, the production team (P'Aof) finished their final survey to the filming location. The location looks really fascinating and pretty hard to reach. Phupa profession was changed from military to forest ranger, due to sensitive military matters. The release date is expected to be in early 2021. So, let's wait patiently because it will be worth it.
Earth has mentioned in his Instagram live that this’ll air near the end of 2020, and that they haven’t started filming yet. How will I wait for so long? Re-watched this trailer at least 10 times already 😫
The actual series was great compare to its trailer. I can't imagine this series if its not Earthmix, the lead characters, they did a good job. Hoping to see you on more series together. :)

I can still remember watching this trailer when it was released more than a year ago. That time, I thought this series was really interesting and I’m glad I have a new series that I want to watch. Watching the 2021 trailer though changed my entire perspective about the series. It didn’t just make me interested to watch the series but made me NEED to watch it. They re-shot some scenes which made them more dramatic and effective (like Torfun’s car accident) and they paid more attention to detail (like changing Tian’s scar on his chest) in the new trailer which makes the story more authentic.

Reasons why we need to anticipate this series - A TALE OF A THOUSAND STARS:
1. THE STORY. It will give us not only the unconditional between two boys but a lot of life lessons as well. It is unique, heartwarming, and dealt with contemporary issues in society. It might become an eye-opener for a lot of people.
2. THE CASTS. The series has a good casting. After watching some of Earth's previous series I can tell that he's a versatile actor but the role that he always gets is underrated, and it saddened me. When it comes to Mix, even though it is his first series I can see that he's a good actor based on the trailer. GMMtv was so lucky to have Win and Mix because they are born to give us a fresh taste of BL series.
3. THE CHEMISTRY. The chemistry between Earth and Mix was overflowing. It came out naturally. And the fact that Earth personally requested Mix as his partner in this series adds more spice in my delusion. Their height difference was so cute and I admit that it's a captivating sight to see. Just standing beside each other emits so much feels. The blend of Earth's manly feature and Mix soft youthful face was so perfect.
4. THE DIRECTOR. Backaof Aof Noppharnach is a very creative director. All of his series was worth to watch and he put his heart into it. It's also a good thing that he's an experienced director and at the same time a writer. When you put these two qualities together it will result in a beautiful outcome.
5. THE CHALLENGES. This might be the most important thing that we need to wait. How will they make this series without arising issues concerning military previsions? As everyone knows, the author of this series posted that the character occupation may change as a forest ranger since the military in Thailand is a big issue. The series may use in political propaganda and it's not good. But changing this detail may as well affect the original flavor of the story. That's why I'm badly waiting for this series to know how will they bring this story into life.
I'm sure that this team was already pressured because a lot of people are looking forward to this series the moment they drop the trailer. If they put their heart into this, they might tie-up or even surpass previous high rating BL series, believe me! I'm praying for this project's success :)

Don't forget their ost too, it's sooooo freaking gooood, it makes the series remarkable, and i am soo addicted with their ost right now, even if its not aired yet. The chosen song really fits the feels of the series. And if you have seen what is the meaning of the song, it's so deep and beautiful. Same to He's Coming To Me, which is also directed by Backoaf, the ost is sooooo goood and it's one of the best and very unique bl series of 2019, yet very underrated. 😭

@@yaoi_islife3950 I dont know if that is true or not but if you look at it, if a new series is coming out, it will release soon after its trailer. The most is 3-4 months but now it has been 9 months. I'm sure if they could finish the trailer by October then they could have finish about half the series and by now they could have finish most if not all of the series. There are rumor going around saying that the director of this series is also the director of the new series ( the continuation of 2gether) "still 2gether". Still 2gether suppose to come out late 2020 and the director is putting still 2gether first because the series was popular. I dont know if this was true or not but this could be the reason. I'm hoping to see this series soon thou because it seem interesting.

I just finished watching the latest episode and I came back here to see the changes. One major addition that I liked was in the series, Tian is not only a delicate guy from the city, but he is also quite spoiled, very rich, and a bit of a 'bad boy' in the background. In this trailer, there is not much to Tian's character (which is understandable since it is just a trailer), so I'm really glad they did such a good job of fleshing out his character in the series, because I feel really invested in seeing his growth. 😊

For those who are curious, the director said that they will start filming once the rainy season passes. So this will most likely air towards year end earliest. The director's definitely given a lot of thought and care into this project since it took him awhile to create a satisfactory script from the novel. Really hoping that they will take as much time as they need to deliver the perfect story. Pretty sure the whole team is aware of how highly anticipated this series is, anyways. The director sure does.

According to Google, the earliest the rainy season ends is in October. It they are filming in the southwest, then this would be after November or December. (People better versed in Thai geography could probably tell where in Thailand they are probably going to shoot at and make a better estimation.) Considering post-production and all the likes, early 2021 is a more reasonable estimation for a release date. I think that was why GMM pushed forth I'm Tee, Me Too and Thonhon Chonlathee. One of these could have been a last minute project or a project scheduled for later pushed up to fill up the time slot this was suppose to take, Regardless, the events of this year threw a lot of things off schedule.
Still, I can't wait. This really does have a very interesting story line and a lot of potential. As long as they air it eventually, it could be a very big thing in the industry.

I remember watching this trailer and thinking that it somehow touched my heart more than other trailers, so I waited more than a year for it. I remember thinking that I just hope the show is half as good as the trailer. After that I didn't watch this trailer for a whole year. Now I'm back a day before the final episode, and my heart genuinely actually physically ACHES while watching this because now I know the whole story. Turns out the show is even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. It's so stunning and so sweet and just such a beautifully told love story. It really exceeded all my expectations. And I see that a lot of moments here aren't a part of the actual show, but they somehow still feel like they tie into the whole story so I'm glad I watched it again. This show will always have a special place in my heart not just among BLs, but out of all the tv shows I've ever watched. The wait was really really really worth it

This series was so beautifully made that it has set a benchmark for all the future series of any genres that i'll watch...it is filled with warmth, bittersweet moments, friendship, love , what does community livining feel like and more importantly life lessons that I took away after watching this....it was one of best slice of life stories (after violet evergarden) for me :)

เทลเลอร์อันนี้ยังไงก็ดีกว่า ทั้งมูสแอนด์โทน บริบท การดำเนินเรื่อง ไดอาล็อก ลำดับการเล่าทีเซอร์ แสง สี ภาพ ความอบอุ่น และเพลงประกอบที่ดูต่างจังหวัดสุดๆ ทั้งฉากนับดาวในตำนาน “คุณบอกว่าถ้านับดาวครบ1000ดวงเมื่อไหร่เราจะอธิษฐานขออะไรก็ได้” แล้วกอดกัน มันทัชใจมาก มันทำให้ตัวละครดูมีเสน่ห์ขึ้น มันดูรักกันจริงๆ เทลเลอน์ตัวใหม่มันเปลี่ยนไปหมด ทำให้นักแสดงดูน่ามองน้อยลง แต่เขาแสดงดีแหละ แต่ด้วยบท คำพูด และโทนทุกอย่างมันเคยดีกว่านี้ สีแสงฉากก็เคยดีกว่าตัวอย่างใหม่ ยิ่งบริบทอุปนิสัยตัวละครนี่ไม่ต้องพูดถึง ในทีเซอร์ตัวนี้ เธียรดูน่าปกป้อง เอ็นดู น่าแกล้ง ภูผาก็ดุแบบอบอุ่น สายตาดูเป็นห่วงเป็นใยมาก ทั้งฉากและเพลงมันทำให้นักแสดงมีคาแรคเตอร์ที่ชัดขึ้น แต่เทลเลอร์ตัวใหม่มันเหมือนหนังคนละม้วน มีนมีบางอย่างที่ทำให้มันดรอปลง

The following is the information about this series that I got. They will start shooting on 21 Sept 2020. Yesterday, the production team (P'Aof) finished their final survey to the filming location. The location looks really fascinating and pretty hard to reach. Phupa profession was changed from military to forest ranger, due to sensitive military matters. The release date is expected to be in early 2021. So, let's wait patiently because it will be worth it.

I can still remember watching this trailer when it was released more than a year ago. That time, I thought this series was really interesting and I’m glad I have a new series that I want to watch.
Watching the 2021 trailer though changed my entire perspective about the series. It didn’t just make me interested to watch the series but made me NEED to watch it. They re-shot some scenes which made them more dramatic and effective (like Torfun’s car accident) and they paid more attention to detail (like changing Tian’s scar on his chest) in the new trailer which makes the story more authentic.
