It is because we are not completely posted. Same reason Japanese are becoming more popular too. Everything the west produces now is cliche Jewish nonsense to guilt trip with and people want to escape it.
I think a really interesting thing about Mymy is that her hair is orange. Her biological hair is black, but she'd probably tried to dye it blonde so she can "feel" Dutch. However, a curious thing about dying hair is that if you're too impatient and don't go in stages with such drastic changes such as black to blond, you often fall in orange. So this suggests that Mymy attempted to dye her hair blond but due to her inexperience and impatience, ended up with orange hair.
Or alternatively, she dyed her hair orange to show her Dutch nationalism, since the color orange is often associated with the Dutch royal family and even the old flag of the Netherlands had an orange stripe instead of red
@@edibleandsentientautomobil5396 After meeting a few Dutch people in the course of the last month, this makes a lot of sense. Orange everywhere with them people lol
Fun fact then, when she is questioned by the teacher about her obvious japanese origin and she screams, you can see her darker hair roots, as in her japanese roots, bit of a cool detail in my opinion

@@noodle_tax Perhaps, but he is technically right in both of his hypotheses. Dutch _does_ have a common origin with English, and in the past 50 years the typical accent has become much more similar to an American accent (see: Gooise "r").
