I'd be down for 0 style prequel with the two of them. Kiryu gets mentioned but not named at the end of the game in some side conversation as "some up and coming yakuza who might be trouble", a side story where we run into kid Ichiban on some wacky adventure... please RGG, make it happen..

(Little bit of a tangent here, sorry)
As I was listening to this track, I was thinking about the late nights I spent playing Infinite Wealth, roaming the streets of Hawai'i, it seems like it would fit that vibe perfectly. When I played through Yakuza 7, I didn't mind Adachi, but I can't say that I really resonated with him _that_ much. But as I played Infinite Wealth, the story/backstory around Adachi really began to stick with me. Adachi is a really good guy, a man who really has a strong sense of justice and humility, one that isn't dulled by his outwardly laidback, nonchalant attitude. In Yakuza 7, Nanba was my favorite (playable) character, but in Yakuza 8, I think it's Adachi. Thank you, RGG Studios, and thank you, Claus, for bringing back these good memories. ❤
