Nice review Chris, good to see you stepping out of just lenses and broadening your niche a little. I got to see if Amazon USA has this and add it to this years wish list. Cheers and God Bless..
How does this thing actually take the shots? Is it mooving constantly or is it doing the moove - stop -shot - moove thing? I think this is the most critical aspect about timelapse gear as it limits your shutter speed if it mooves all the time, so it would be useless at night or even at sunsets.
+minepate The main difference between most other devices in this price point (and definitely the cheaper ones) is that they lack move-shoot-move capability, for night timelapse photography at longer shutter speeds. If you're shooting during the day or at most ambient light conditions, you can create timelapses using an egg timer and a Gopro, or your phone even. But if you need move-shoot-move capability to do long exposures like 30seconds, this is the absolute minimum you'll have to invest.
minepate Well that's something that is not yet available, and I'm not even understanding how it is motorized based on the product photos; it looks like a mere slider. But, if it is indeed a viable option (with move-shoot-move control) I'd love to know more!
Super cool, but how can a product like this be so expensive? It rotates the camera slowly... I don't get why simple camera accessories are so overpriced...
What a handy piece of equipment. So simple yet effective. Thanks for your review.
Loved this review. Didn't know such devices existed. Expensive but if u can get results like that, definitely worth it

The app looks pretty nice. Thank you for the very informative review.
nice introduction! was shunned away of time lapsing because of quite overwhelming "tools"; this looks very convenient!

Have this device. It's move, stop, shoot, move.
Hey christ can you make a video about how to shoot timelapse?
Does it “move shoot move” in time lapse mode for longer exposures ? Thanks.
Yup

Sony Xperia z 5 compact?
There is always a gopro and a egg timer.
+Timelapse Boy that's why I said gopro
I have a 30$ timelapse thing which works just like egg timer, 360 in 60 minutes. But it is stronger and you can use it also with dslr

Matthew Saville You can get long exposure timelapses with Rollocam. Needed parts cost about 150$
