I work in fragrance at Sephora!!I think you’d love the Maison Margiela Replica collection overall, but ESPECIALLY Under the Lemon Trees. It just smells like citrus, I don’t feel like it has any intense floral notes overall. Also maybe Nest Black Tulip. Love this video!!!
I love vanilla, warm spicy fragrances. My absolute favorite right now is Nishane Ani, but I also love Replica Whispers In The Library and YSL Libre Intense and layering all of them together.
Loved this video! I've not tried any of these, but the description and notes explanations sounds exactly like what I like. Definitely wish-listing a few of these!!
I got a sampler of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and it was my absolute favourite perfume ever! Can’t justify the price though. Maybe one day after college!
Hey Kat I think you would enjoy A Girl In Capri from Lanvin. Main accords are citrus, aromatic and marine. I guess you could think of it as another version of Light Blue. Doesn't last long though. Someone else mentioned Under The Lemon Trees from Maison Margiela - you would definitely love that fragrance :)
Clean Reserve is one of those brands like Escentric Molecule. They have such interesting scents and I love Rain, Warm Cotton, and Skin. Very much fresh, wow you smell good scents.
Theres 2 i can think of i feel like you could like Rain - by Clean Reserve. I dont know what the avalability is like for Clean Reserve is in Aussie (its in sephora canada) but its a beautiful water rain type scent. Scent Type: Fresh Aquatics, Key Notes: Bergamot, White Flower, Vetiver Citrine - by Nest. This one is more floraly, but it still has a freshness and a hint of citrus in it that makes it lighter over all. Scent Type: Fresh Citrus & Fruits, Key Notes: Lemon Blossom, Lotus Flower
I have similar problems with migraine from heavy fragrances. That's why I enjoy green scents family, they are absolutely the best for that reason. Comme de Garcon Play Green (mint and herbs), Diptyque Eau de Lierra (ivy and rain), Ulrich Lang Apsu (freshly cut grass), Chanel Paris - Edimburg (cold bergamot and salty wind), Santa Maria Novella Cala Rossa (sea breeze and bitter herbs) and so much more, I can do this all day💕
Two favourite fresh fragrances of mine are Truth by CK and Chanel No19 EDT. Roma is a really nice bergamot scent but reminds me of sunshine when I wear it. Very uplifting. Truth has that fresh scent with the clover and bamboo and No19 well that’s incredible it’s sweet yet fresh. I like Light Blue, too.
Very much enjoyed seeing your collection and hearing your thoughts. I received a sample of Floral Street Sunflower Pop - goodness the passionfruit really comes through. I will try it on tomorrow and see how I get on. Still working out what scents I like and, most importantly, what likes me.
My first ever fragrance was the original DKNY Be Delicious, I loved it so much! I'm probably going to go to a discount store and buy it again lol. I'm currently loving Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet but it doesn't last long on me. 4 hours max.
I just saw your video and thought I won´t watch it as I am currently not looking for a perfume and I don´t want to be tempted! But then I remembered that the reason for it is me using up my stash of ck2 bottles that I bought when you said it´s getting discontinued. So here I am having trust in your taste and ready to check out a few new perfumes :)
God, I found the Dolce Cabana Ligh blue (regular one) few years ago, and never found another good other fragrance ever since. You seems to like the same kind of notes than me, so I will gladly try these other perfum !!! Im so glad you made that list 😅😅
Tom Ford Eau de Solieil Blanc. A citrus DREAM. Terrible longevity and stupid expensive but 10000% worth it AND doesn’t give me a migraine. I actually wear it DURING migraines because it helps relieve nausea for me and is so pleasant it helps take my mind off the agony. Editing to add that it’s not just Soleil Blanc; that one has coconut which I think you mentioned you hate. Eau de Soleil Blanc is just citrus with maybe a whisper of a memory of a hint of honeysuckle.
My favourite has to be L'interdit Givenchy, which is a white floral forward perfume and it smells absolutely gorgeous on me. I generally tend to like perfumes that have white florals in them and are sweet, but I don't limit myself to those. Recently one that I have been wearing a lot is Lazy Sunday Morning by Maison Margiela, it smells like white clean sheets in a very good way. One that I love but has absolutely no staying power on me (max 5 mins) it's Before the Rain by Victoria's Secret which has notes of rain water, yuzu, Lilly and mountain air; it's citrusy and watery and absolutely gorgeous.
I had the original L’Interdit, which I adored. Alas my toddler sprayed the entire bottle on my pillow during an afternoon nap, and that version is no longer available 😢.
In the uk we have the new light blue Italian love , it’s amazing if you can get hold of it ! It is also similar to the light blue forever which might be easier to get. Hope this helps !
I’m just like you - the more a scent is like literal lemon juice on me the more I love it. Try Mandarine Basilic and Orange Soleia from Guerlain (both from the Aqua Allegoria range). If you really wanna splurge there’s Creed Virgin Island water which has hibiscus and just a tiny hint of coconut (but the good kind - you know what I mean by that). You might enjoy Eau de Pamplemouse Rose by Hermès and Grandiflora Sandrine as well. I think they’re an Aussie brand!
I don't know exactly how many perfumes I currently own, and some of them are in a communal perfume basket (my mum and I both gave perfumes in there so we can both use them, and my sister used to have some in there before she moved to Melbourne - it's a great way to justify having a variety while also making sure they all get used). I typically go for fruity florals, and the occasional musk note, and I don't usually like sweet vanilla notes (the only exception is Lancome Poeme, but I don't think you'd like that one because it's a bit heavy and a bit old - the only reason it doesn't give me a headache is because it's what my Granny wears and it reminds me of her). I also have a few others on my wishlist (and I added to my wishlist again while watching this video). I'm not sure how many of my favourites would be options you would like, but I think the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria range might have something you'd enjoy (I have a small bottle of Rosa Rossa and I'm definitely going to buy a full size when I run out). Tocca Simone has a beautiful watermelon scent that's great for summer, and Tocca are usually pretty mind. Goldfield & Banks have some nice fresh scents, but they're pretty strong and they're very expensive. I don't feel bad about having so many perfumes - taking good care of them, they can take several years to go bad, so it's OK to have options that it takes a few years to use up.
Watermelon scent sounds great! I would love to share perfumes, it would encourage me to buy more haha! I haven't lived with my family for 13 years so it's all on me to use them up haha.
I am looking for a light but stong long lasting girly flowery feminine fresh clean powdery smell like anaiis anaiis but longer lasting recommendations needed!! 😊😅
Basically all CK and D&G smell awful on me and I tend to go for warm and spicy. However, I do like the Guerlain Pamplemousse and I still own the YSL I love You which both are very grapefruity scents. I think you might also like Hermes Jardin sur le Nile which is very fresh and green.
Korres Golden Passion fruit shower gel and body lotion is, to me, Sunflower Pop in body care form. Same zingy, slightly sweet fruity scent. My favourite for summer!
I love ck2 but I didn't buy back ups :((( I'm halfway through my 100ml bottle so I don't know what I will do in the future. I have gotten Calvin Klein eternity air for women which I feel is kind the same vein I think we have similar tastes so I'll be watching you in the future 😍😍
Im definitely a fresh clean citrus earthy scent kind of person. I wish I knew about ck2 because that sounds like a dream. Currently I have CK women and it’s fresh but sophisticated? Clearly im terrible at explaining notes as well 😅 I have gone through a few DG light blue bottles, so nice but it does wear off quickly.
I brought the ck2 because you raved about it and I have used it up I'm sad i can't get it any more, I got so many compliments on it. I really like fresh citrus scents as well and I'm also very partial to vanilla scents. I think I want to try that DKNY one next
I just counted my collection and I've got 33 mini's (between 4 and 10 milliliter) One for every mood! 😂 My most used are the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria mini's, fresh citrus fruity.
Oh we have the same scent profile lol I feel that you would really enjoy Henry Rose Smyth perfume. It’s a bright apple and it’s fantastic. I love citrus perfumes too! I wish I could smell lemon zest!
I have 5 or 6 travel ones most half empty or more. 2 full size fragrances at the moment. What I like and what actually works on me are on utter opposites. Something about my body chemistry often drastically changes the scent of the perfume. I use a lot of indie perfume, but I have a Tom Ford Black Orchid, which is warm spicy, but on me is kind of floral, and light? So weird. 😆
I have one full size fragrance and a couple of the tiny plastic sprays. All which were passed on to me from my sister. Unfortunately i strongly dislike the full size perfume she gave me but i keep it around for the memory/loving intention she had when she gave it to me cuz the liquid wasnt pink like the rest of her perfumes… but still cherish it cuz it was a gift tho.
If you like freshies get your nose on these for a try, some are inexpensive and some expensive. I love perfumes so always love these videos!💯☀️❤️
I absolutely love Pinrose Secret Genius and Gilded Fox. Secret Genius smells clean, sexy and powdery, and Gilded Fox smells like a sweet spicy rum drink.
CK2 was my most complimented fragrance but it went bad over time, probably because I didn’t store it in a dark place. I still have half a bottle left and refuse to throw it out so it’s now used as a fun display bottle 😂 I’m so devastated I didn’t buy a back up. We definitely have the same preference for fragrance so no doubt this video will inspire me to buy more!
Also, have you tried Electric Rhubarb from floral street? It’s my second fave after Sunflower Pop. I know Hailey has D&G L’Imperatrice which is probably in my top 3 most worn but I wondered if you’ve tried it?
you should check out Ellis Brooklyn SunFruit, it's classified as a fruity floral which I wear a lot, but it is similar to the fig one you like, it's very bergamot heavy which I love
That looks lovely except for the coconut base note! One thing I forgot to mention is that coconut scents make me feel sick (I blame coconut tasting medication that had as a kid) so anything with coconut notes is a no go for me sadly 😩
It is funny, my perfume collection is the same perfume over and over for the last 21 years. I have been wearing Very Irresistible by Givenchy since I was 17. I accidentally bought a special edition with a different, lovely scent but I cannot smell anything else on me and feel like myself. I gave that bottle to my son’s godmother.
I have purchased the same fragrances on and off for 20 years, so I feel you. But my preferences have changed since I was a teen, so I do like to try new things, and over the years some of my favourites have been discontinued so I am forced to look for alternatives.
i don't know if it's available in australia, but since you like your citrus-fizzy notes check out calacas/zesty (idk which name it's selling under currently) perfume from lush! smells like fizzy lime gummies and has great longevity bc the base note is frankincense. that may sound a little scary/off-putting but all it does is offer a very very VERY subtle warm musky note to hold it all together. it's like 85% lime and neroli LOL
We do have zesty in Australia, but only in the body spray... not the perfume. I don't use body sprays so they haven't even bothered trying it, but I will smell it next time I am in a Lush store ❤️
@@KitschSnitch oh, the name is misleading! it's not a body spray like deodorant, or even cheap "body mist" a la victoria secret/bath and body works/etc... in fact, a lot of us in the community agree that (though the experience varies between their scents, overall) they're better than the actual perfumes LOL. they're cheaper too... my only word of warning is they have a powerful spritzer, so make sure you hold it a good 30cm from your body or you'll be drenched :P
@@NotSoUnitedNations I have tried them in store before (not the zesty one though), and I found them too wet and messy to use haha. But if the scent is worth the hassle I will definitely give it a go ❤
I would love to know which website you got those scent profiles from. I wear similar scents to you and am always on the hunt for compact perfumes with fresh or citrusy vibes.
We have such similar tases or noses ?? regarding perfumes. I will try some of your fragrances. In the same family is the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune. This fragrance welcomes you with festive fireworks of freshly squeezed grapefruit, lemon and bergamot juice, whose aroma then is melting in patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla mix. It was created in 1999. The other one is Halloween by Jesus del Pozo. Soft and powdery violet, green lime and green banana notes open this romantic composition. The heart ticks in the rhythm of Casablanca magnolia, violet notes, seductive tuberose spiced with pepper notes. The base is milky - warm with sandalwood, aromatic incense, myrrh and Madagascar vanilla. It sounds heavy but wintertime especially is just a dream.

The floral street one sounds amazing! We have a policy of not using perfumes at work, so I have a hard time justifiing buying more perfumes...
I got a sampler of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and it was my absolute favourite perfume ever! Can’t justify the price though. Maybe one day after college!

Have you tried atelier cologne lemon island? It’s a sweet lemony tropical scent. Kind of smells like lemon cake.
My favorite fragrances is Bobby Brown Beach and Joe Malone woods sage and sea salt. I love clean and woody together
I think you would like Skylar Pink Canyon! Notes are Grapefruit, Salt, and Pine ❤️

Sadly not yet 😩

To me the CK2 smells like walking through the forest. So alive and full of oxygen.
I love light blue love is love. It doesn't last long though but smells amazing.
That's one I didn't try because it was released when stores were closed in lockdowns, but hopefully I will come across it soon to smell!
