It may be fun to do a one week one shelf challenge. I always love watching Emily Fox do those. Just randomly generate which shelf you'll work on, start from a randomly picked book and when you finish it then move to the next book on the shelf.
Highly recommend the Disability Visibility essays-really unique and varied perspectives on disabilities. I'd love to see you read Wolfsong as I haven't seen many reviews of this Klune series

Alice Wong is the best editor ever and I thank her for gathering so many great writers to participate in that book as well as its sequel Disability Intimacy which is also fantastic
The winter's promise is such a good YA fantasy series, original and so well written, reminded me of a studio gibli movie mixed with strange the dreamer
I've decided to do my own version of this. I'll call it: You Have Books At Home, Put Your Wallet Down or YHBAH, PYWD (pronounced: yahaba pied). A challenge where I will tackle my physical and digital books, I'll give myself 2 years to finish my physical shelves and the same amount of years to read the equivalent number of books on my digital shelves. Which will come out to approximately 530 books, which is completely doable
Someone You Can Build a Nest In is so so good! Comedic horror romance, it doesn't feel like it should work but it really does. It's so sweet and funny while also being gruesome

Two Twisted Crowns (obviously), His Majesty's Dragon (not my fav, but still a good time), Starling House, Killers of a Certain Age, and basically everything in your cozy fantasy/mystery section even though I've never read them because they have gorgeous covers.

I've read 'in the lives of puppets', didn't enjoy it as much as the 2 other books of his I've read, but it was okay 5. Personally, I loved 'a fate inked in blood', can't wait for you to read it and for a second book :) 6. A Lady for a Duke and a Strange and Stubborn Endurance are fantastic queer romances! And they have such gorgeous writing too! Would love to see you read them!
Saint by Sierra Simone is my #1 pick for you. It’s the first book I read in that series and by FAR the best (I hated the first book and the second was alright in comparison). Saint is so good and also teaches you a lot about monasteries’ participation in beer brewing ??? Fascinating I also loved Killers of a Certain Age and I’m so excited that the author just released the cover/release date for the sequel. A Lady for a Duke is a great historical romance! I really loved the second chance sort of romance and the beauty and the beast trope.
The only one of these in my TBR is children of time, I'll try to read it soon in case it appears in the following TBR tackle videos Some of these sounds interesting but I'll wait until you read them and I know more about them to add them to my tbr😊

Thank you so much for recommending The Thirteenth Tale to me Riley. I loved it.😍
Dance of Thieves and The Serpent and the Wings of Night!! ❤️
Saint by Sierra Simone is my #1 pick for you. It’s the first book I read in that series and by FAR the best (I hated the first book and the second was alright in comparison). Saint is so good and also teaches you a lot about monasteries’ participation in beer brewing ??? Fascinating
I also loved Killers of a Certain Age and I’m so excited that the author just released the cover/release date for the sequel.
A Lady for a Duke is a great historical romance! I really loved the second chance sort of romance and the beauty and the beast trope.
I loved serpent and the wings of night! I’m my top 5 of the year was amazing
The Thirteen Tale and The Historian are must reads!
The only one of these in my TBR is children of time, I'll try to read it soon in case it appears in the following TBR tackle videos
Some of these sounds interesting but I'll wait until you read them and I know more about them to add them to my tbr😊
Trying to make it varied :
- Assassin's apprentice by Robin Hobb for an adult fantasy
- A Winter's Promise by Christelle Dabos for a YA
- Someone You Can Build a Nest in for sapphic romance
- The Perfume by Süskind for literary fiction/modern classic.
The Lies of Locke Lamora is amazing! That is one of my favorite series. I'm actually in the middle of re-reading it right now. There's no romance in it, but it's big on found, the world building is so intricate.
A close and common orbit, evocation, starling house, chlorine, the picture of Dorian Gray, disability Visibility (this one should literally be required reading for everyone!!), fingersmith are some books that I've loved !!
