  • The Marsh Warbler is very similar in appearance to the Reed Warbler. A prominent feature in which the Marsh Warbler differs from the Reed Warbler is the distinctive pale tips to the wing feathers which can be seen in some of the stills in this video. The song of the Marsh Warbler is much more varied and richer than that of the Reed Warbler. The Marsh Warbler often imitates the songs of other species of bird.
The Marsh Warbler is a rare and occasional breeding summer visitor to the UK.
