One tip for zombie Royale is use a trophy towards the end as the zombies cannot use their gas grenades because of the trophy. Very useful
They can shut down the trophy with their emp

The VAL is great at close to medium range. You need to be a strong sniper to carry it, I am not.

Check out true game data. He suggests a pkm, sa87 or oden with it. Very good since they are slow/or have a bit mag to compensate if you're no good at sniping. I wish you luck my mang
Another tip for the AS VAL is to burst fire the gun manually when engaging targets past 30 meters. The first few bullets recoil pattern is fairly tight so when you burst 3-5 bullets at a time your recoil management goes through the roof. Makes it a more viable mid range wepon

After watching the video i have got to say it's pretty funny how you modded the gun for hip fire but almost always aimed down the sights. I personally don't think hip fire is the way to go on the VAL because of its small magazines. You dont want to waste ammo with this gun. I think a more recoil focused build would help decreasing the realistic time to kill because it makes it easier to hit more shots. Still a super cool video, as always :)
Yep, i think the same thing.
In reality, this is the recoil focused build. This gun does not have a barrel that increases control, and the rubberized grip tape is more of a wasted attachmentslot than a worthy addition to the build with only 4% recoil reduction.

@@jonasklang5013 rubberized grip tape is not a waste. Believe me it does a ton of recoil control specially on the AS VAL. I totally agree with dropping the 5mw laser tho. Merc forgrip is sufficient to help with hipfire.

They might be using a friend or second account that they sandbagged. If someone starts a lobby with AWFUL warzone stats and one of them join that lobby, play a game, then the accnt signs out, making one one of them party leader. They're still in that same lobby or sever with low k/d.
I recently got wrecked by Crowder and i was in disbelief as to why i was in the same lobby i have a 1.2 k/d im not sure what is going on with sbmm right now but it feels as if im in the craziest lobbies
@@jayquickscope4446 same man I only got a 1.45 yet I’m in youtuber and hacker lobbies pretty consistently lately. I have been getting wins more consistently lately so that might be it but still the SBMM is crazy. If it was like Apex where they showed you what type of lobby you were in it wouldn’t be a problem.

Don't really see a reason for a hipfire build because you are still going to miss shots no matter how tight your spread is

I noticed you have a tendency to jump around on a roof top when reloading. I've found it way easier to counter snipe guys.who do that vs someone who crouches down or just runs flat. When you jump you expose more of ur hit markers. Just curious why you like to jumples aroundles

Me personally I would take the osa barrel over 5mw. This gun needs the bullet velocity that the barrel provides.

@@nourbsat3432 merc foregrip is the fucking worst for recoil control though. If it was for recoil control, ranger or commando would be better options, specially since merc reduces mobility too also.

Wouldn't it be better to get rid of the stock and get the smallest barrel? From what I know, smaller barrels have tighter hip fire spreads.

But my point stays true because it indeed has the fastest ttk in the game with decent manageable recoil making it if not the best close-mid range assault rifle to pair with a sniper/marksmen
Use it like an SMG for close quarters with an AR for long range, only problem is u have the same ammo pool but it's not a big deal as long as u loot the people u kill + u can just give all your smg ammo to teammates

I like your idea of not using the OSA long barrel but why do you need the stock to add more weight when you can use rubberized grip tape.
My build AS VAL build is OSA barrel, merc forgrip, crimen mini reflex, rubberized grip, 30 rounds.
Gonna try dropping the barrel for sleight of hand. 👍
Please try the AN-94....it absolutely shreds. On my first game using it I dropped 14 kills and I’ve used it ever since. I would love to see a place for it in the meta.

Shoot a wall and watch where the bullets go when you don't control it, then follow the opposite pattern. Eg, if the bullets go up and right, you would go down and left :)
@@SparkzZ13 I've seen ppl do that before, but the issue is with a controller you can only handle recoil to a certain extent. Even if I do that there is still recoil. Thanks for the advice tho :)
I personally play keyboard and mouse, but sadly that's the only real way to control recoil. I dunno if the aim assist from controllers effects the recoil control but I'd imagine that it would. But still, practice makes perfect and you can only get better
You really cant control recoil that much on controller, thats one of pc main advantages
@@adityaaggarwal7483 adjust your sensitivity then, also dynamic or linear aim curves might help you... If you have multiplayer set up a private game and turn aim assist off on it and experiment with your sens.

I will give it a try then. So far no one's build of AS VAL (in games I played) impressed me, cuz they all suck, yes they absolutely suck. And also what is ur build for SP R, mine ads slower than yours but I don't find any visible difference.
Try MP7 + VAL
MP7 versatile at any range. Function as close hipfire and as AR in medium/long range.
Ammo efficient as MP7 have different ammo type.

Do contracts like recon, scavs and supply runs but make sure you’re holding that specific gun when you complete the contracts. It is the fastest way to level up guns in warzone.
Plunder contracts contracts contracts an XP tickets. Or double xp weekend like this week
The AS-VAL is good fot Solos, on squads I think you are better off with a MP5 with 10mm bullets.
Apart from that, You died After 9:26, in the next cut you no longer have a satchel and the only way to lose it is by dying.

Run the AS VAL with the 200mm barrel, ranger foregrip, strelok, 30 round, and either sleight of hand or tac laser, I prefer the laser though

I pair this with a range AR. M4 or kilo. Use this in close to mid and the other for mid to long. Using this as an smg and you will never find yourself stuck out of smg range with... an smg.
My build is VLK 200m osa barrel+VLK strelok stock+30rounds mag+tac laser+ merc foregrip

As a person that uses the AS VAL on a regular basis i can comfirm that it kills faster then any other gun and in a fire fight someome could be shooting you for 3 seconds! (With a trash gun) and you can still kill them the AS VAL is as op as it sounds and yes you do not need an optic iron sights are the way to go
I run as val with skeleton stock and control recoil.
If you need to fight long range just mount and shoot first.
I run riot shield on every other class so I'm not worried about getting shot from behind.
I disagree, it has a TTK and RPM like an MP5, but recoil and power of rounds like an AK-47

As val: 200mm barrel, commando foregrip, 10round magazine, VLK strelok and VLK 3.0x optics (war zone) 4 bullet kill on body. 2 bullet kill headshot. (1 headshot= broken shield)
I would use this if they would just add a 40 round mag. The idea of barely being able to squeeze in two kills (maybe) is so unattractive to me. I gotta be honest, I don’t even like watching gameplay with it because you know the youtuber isn’t going to be chaining in any double kills or triple kills. It also just looks lazy on the part of IW. It’s like they made this for multiplayer first and just got tired and decided not to add a bigger mag for Warzone. I know it has the highest CQC ttk but come on, surely they could add 10 more rounds and it wouldn’t be too OP. We could use a more competitive AR to break up the Kilo/M4/Ram/Amax meta.
No reason to use any other smg besides Mac 10, only guns that can compete are shotguns, r90, jak12 etc

I use a remarkably similar build but swap Merc for Stippled because to be a proper SMG replacement you need the sprint to fire speed to be much lower, and the only way to get it there after the 5MW is with stippled.
I have tried a variant too where I trade of stippled for a VLK 3.0 optic and still do all close range fights with hip fire while aiming down sight through the VLK 3.0 to make sure I hit my shots with the low bullet velocity and small mag size.. it's an interesting combo.
Are you still using the 3080 @ 2k? If so how are you getting such high frames? Endless reddit posts about the terrible performance and low frames in warzone on 3080/90. Which driver are you using?
By far the most annoying gun to fight against if you ever thought the mp5 was bad or a shotgun is bad then you got this gun who kills faster than I can blink
How to make an AS VAL better than 99% of the meta guns in MW: Randomly click on attachments with your eyes closed. I feel like I'm cheating if I try to min/max with it.
My setup: ranger grip, 30 round, slight if hand, vlk strelok, vlk 200mm osa barrel. Hipfire seems okay without laser and commando!
What would be the best set up if your gun is at mid level, better still at any level no one seems to do these videos and not every one plays the game the same 6-7 hours a day.
I use this weapon as an smg but would be more compatible if it had 40-45 round mags.

after i got my AS VAL. my multiplayer gameplay hugely improved. and because i love to play Shipment so, This class setup is a blessing.
The as val is top notch my load out for it is
Vlk Barrel, stovl srock, commando foregrip , 30 mag and sight of hand. This is a beast in s&d haven't really tried it in warzone yet
1.4 second reload is the 20 round only 30 round mag is 1.8 true game data says he needs to update it.
Also you are only looking at chest shots. Up close the fennic has the quickest ttk with headshot only.
you should put the amax in the comparasion sheet too. its super similar too the as val, when talking about TTK but it has way higherDMG/Mag
AS VAL has replaced my typical MP5, can't wait to see what attachments you show us for Cold War & Cold War Warzone.
I made a really good no recoil class with my own testing. This is best for mid range, and I tested it in both ground war, plunder, and regular warzone. It shreds and as a PC player with good aim, it is super easy to control. VLK 200mm Osa barrel, Operator Foregrip, 30 Round Mags, Rubberized Grip Tape or Fully Loaded, and VLK Strelok Stock.
@@nationarmy2514 mid range, not long range. More specifically 38-40 meters is the max you can most effectively shoot this gun. The AS VAL has extremely slow billet velocity, and a pretty sizable damage drop off right after 40 meters, I would say 45-48 is the max you want to be shooting this gun. For most players who crutch on overpowered, easy to use guns, 30 rounds ain’t enough, but to me it’s fine. It just takes skill. I have really good aim, and that helps a lot. Aim and movement is pretty easy in CoD, I do come from siege so that helped a lot, but aim just takes a lot of time and practice.

U gotta use the Norma mag for max bullet velocity. The lapua mag helps but not as much as the Norma mag
Did they nerf this gun? I started using it while experimenting with other guns I like the fire rate and the damage seems ok but it only has 3 available attachment slots??? which does not make any sense to me. you can only equip an optic, laser, and a perk, so you stuck with a shitty 20 round mag that spits them out faster then you can reload you miss one shot and your dead.

I'd still use a supressor in place of the stock as I dont want to be popping up on the mini map for all to see especially when fighting a 1v3 or something. And just in general when is using a gun without a supressor in warzone a good idea..? haha. Unless you want people running to shoot you in the back. You can use the barrel with the suppressor that also helps recoil in place of the stock and have gun perform the same but without showing up on the minimap every 5 seconds. Recoil on this gun is easy to manage anyway its just straight up.
The VAL is supressed with every barrel. That is the special feature of the gun.
I’ve been using the longer range barrel even though I use it for close range to have better bullet velocity and absolutely decimate anyone in my path I’ll have to try the strelok stock and see which I like better

Reloading is slower with the 30 rounds,for the as val the data on truegamedata is for the 20 rounds with the perk fast hand (forget the name).
