    there are studies showing links between autism/adhd/etc in children and the age of the mother when they're born, the older she is, the higher the chance for these kinda things to occur.
    that's also probably why you're seeing a lot of folk with ADHD in the modern era, as people (women) keep pushing back their child-bearing years in order to have fun when they're younger. that's fine and all, just gotta be aware that if you do that, you're way more likely to get children with these kinda issues.
    that said, i dunno why a master's degree would affect the value of anyone's eggs, that has nothing to do with anything as far as i can see, that's an environmental thing. drugs etc, i can understand.

    • @FrendlywolfVideos
      @FrendlywolfVideos 9 днів тому +7

      The masters degree matters to these buyers because they believe in eugenics, thus attribute academic performance to be directly (and primarily) tied to genetics.
      In addition the ever increasing rates of a-typical neurology seen in the "modern era" is best attributed to firstly: an existing and broadening understanding of the conditions (and thereby an ability to diagnose people in the first place) and secondly: an arguably over zealous system through which diagnoses are made (people are diagnosed with ever weaker evidence and/or the severity is exaggerated).
      Not to say the age of the mother doesn't play a part, its well known that the older the mother is the more likely there will be health/birth complications, just that this isn't known to be as big a contributor, although research into the causes of these conditions is far from 'complete', that said it may become more significant (relatively) if and when these first and second reasons diminish.

      Educational attainment is correlated with intelligence, which is almost entirely genetic.

    • @FrendlywolfVideos
      @FrendlywolfVideos 7 днів тому

      @@grafzeppelin4069 yes, as a base, intelligence is determined entirely by genetics (most probably) however we have no real idea how the genetics gets inherited or expressed and as such there's no good reason to assume that an intelligent persons offspring is going to possess similar intelligence (genetically).
      That is to say, a smart kid born to stupid or poor parents is likely to have their intelligence squandered and will be seen as stupider, and a stupid child born to smart or rich parents is likely to achieve more than other equally stupid kids, thereby making them look smarter, to put it very simply.

    • @grafzeppelin4069
      @grafzeppelin4069 7 днів тому +1

      @@FrendlywolfVideos "there's no good reason to assume that an intelligent persons offspring is going to possess similar intelligence" This is just objectively false, and also contradicts what you said earlier. The 2nd paragraph is all entirely speculative, and I reject it outright.

    • @FrendlywolfVideos
      @FrendlywolfVideos 7 днів тому

      @@grafzeppelin4069 my earlier comment was a simple explanation to the question posed, in the video it was mentioned that the people who were looking to buy eggs were part of a eugenics group and as such is why they valued academic accomplishments in this context, I disagree with the principles of eugenics as a whole, which is why it seems I contradicted myself in the second comment.
      Also "there's no good reason to assume that an intelligent persons offspring is going to possess similar intelligence" is in no way objectively false, its more than possible that very intelligent parents can give birth to a mediocre or even unintelligent child (excluding genetic defects) simple life experience will demonstrate this, however perhaps I should mend it to say: 'no good reason to presume', or even 'no good reason to assume with confidence/certainty', if these amendments are more satisfactory then I have no further complaints on the matter.
      Also yes, the second paragraph is speculative, its a practical contextualization of the first paragraph in order to describe its principles, in that the presence or absence of 'intelligence improving genes' can be partially obscured from observation by environmental circumstance. The only real way you can reject it outright is if you propose: A) that its impossible to positively or negatively impact a persons mental development or B) its impossible for a smart kid to be born from stupid parents or visa versa.
      If you reject it for another reason which has escaped me, I'm genuinely interested to hear it, but its getting late for me so I wont respond for several hours at the earliest.

    This actually sounds like one of the single most fucked up concepts you could imagine. Like I'm a history student, and this straight up sounds like something straight out of a certain time period under a certain mustache man. Not the autism part, I mean families actively going out and searching for people with "desirable traits." Eugenics is just fucked up and I don't know how there's even a group of people that are supporting it.

    • @FrendlywolfVideos

      If you can afford it, this could actually be a very viable option, to the point that this method may well become common place (or at least normalized) given the current trends in dating/relationships.
      Albeit with its own negative consequences, such as the surrogate mothers possible emotional attachment, the child very likely growing up with only one parent, and any mental health issues that may mirror those often found in adopted children (regarding their knowledge of being an egg/sperm donor child), to name a few.
      If you or anyone else decides to pursue this or any similar alternative I encourage you to make an effort to be informed of such possibilities so you can engage them as best you can, a lot of parents that adopt children fail to properly handle all of it and this wont be any easier.
      Just keep in mind that you will face some different challenges compared to what other parents experience.

      @@FrendlywolfVideos Thank you for the info. I'm a PhD who didn't have much time for socialing with many girls. Hence, i find it hard to find an actual wife. I found many of the females around me are either not very mentally stable or too concerned about their own quality of life after giving birth. So I'm actually taking this into consideration. I grew up with my babysitters since my parents were very busy. Educationalwise, I'm not very worried about my future kid since achieving high level of education is a family tradition. For the phycological part, I will definitely try to find a solution before I put it to an act.

As my age is hitting 30, I need to find a solution before I get too busy with my job. I don't have time dating someone for a few months only to find that they would not willing to give birth or they are not mentally stable to be a wife and a mother of her children. I need to find a solution with what I have. I can hire a babysitter for him/her 24/7, surround him/her with PhD uncles/aunties, and spend as much time as I have with my kid. That's all I have. LOL

Many vr streamers just have a social disorder they need to get a proper hook on reality and see the difference.

    Actually, the women who make huge money on the egg selling are half white mixed raced. They're less common, and interracial infertile couples have a bit more reluctance to adopt as they feel like it would seem obvious its not their kid. I've heard of half white half asian women getting offered 50k. The masters degree plays into it less than you think, and its pretty hard to verify substance use history.
    The thing she is also not mentioning is that donating eggs = months of very intense hormone injections and then a surgery. Its high priced for a reason.
