This was by far the best and most intriguing roundtable interview ever. I had no idea that the deliverance of "kyu ki tu dhadkan, main dil" from Tu Jo Mila (Bajrangi Bhaijaan) was actually a deliverance the music director had presented for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil's title song. The way a song is pieced together and emoted by the singer per narrative is just incredible. It's sad to say that musicians barely get compensated in Bollywood for all the effort they produce from their craft. Bollywood music is an animal of its own apart from any other globally. Each of them bring so much intellect to the table. Kudos to the passion they put into their skill and craft. 👏 It's almost 2 a.m. and I am just intrigued! 🎼❤️

Okay the thing Pritam Chakraborty is saying about trusting one music director for an entire album...tell me one thing then why you don't apply the same thing for Your singers. When you try 7 to 8 singers for a single song...the same thing happens for them also...they can also feel that composer is not trusting them...they also can't be completely attached to the song and give his/her 200%.
Good question! Oh how I wish Pritam sir see this question and reply. I believe if a formula applies to one sector, it should apply to every avenue a song is being created.

I didn't say he should use only one voice for the whole album, rather i am not in support of that, in that way variations become less, one can easily board by listening 1 voice only. I said that he records 1 song by 7-8 different singers and then keep one's voice.. and others version automatically got rejected. This thing not used to happen earlier..composer made one singer sing a particular song and they used to work on it until they become satisfied with it. In that way a better attachment used to be built between the song and the whole team. Now it's like trial and error practice...!
