I just watched the new movie it's absolutely terrible and there's no climax It ruined the whole franchise. I do recommend watching it tho because then you'll see what I mean it's extremely short too

When Red and that other girl get the sorcerer’S cookbook, we don’t even get to see the prom or what they called it, they just go back in time and the story’s over. It felt so dumb and I wish we got way more of the villains, especially the Original VK’s.
Wait i think when Cinderella and Queen Of Hearts were young (Ella and Bridget) they had a fight cus young Queen Of Hearts (Bridget) looks like the sweetest person you've ever met and now Queen Of Hearts is the coldest character with only her eyes

Wake up, remember Chad from the all 3 movies. He had light skin, needed to match up with him. Or it's going to be a flop. King Triton only had 2 half sisters, Ursula and Morgana. King Triton doesn’t have more half sisters. Disney did have The Sorcerers Apprentice movie with Morgan La Fay, but in Sword in the Stone movie. Mad Madame Mim, is their version for Morgan La Fay.

Morgana is literally just Madam Mim (they toned her down for the animated movie and changed her name), so not an unusual character for Disney at all. She was always Merlin's rival.
I think they’re different because during their introduction there’s a vk with a very similar design to madam mim. She had no lines, however.

It appears they are going with the version of Cinderella where Brandi was Cinderella, considering Brandi and her Prince are reprising their roles. And this movie does have a thing about giving their younger characters interesting hair colors. Even Audrey (Sleeping Beauty's daughter) had pink hair in the last movie, even before she turned evil.

Yeah, I'm gonna pass on this movie. I thought the wonderland elements and Queen Of Hearts' daughter was interesting, but they really seem to be making this movie hallow. I mean it adds like two new characters and just does a time travel plot. There could've been a lot more, especially when it could've been Uma reaching out to other kingdoms ran by villains in a way to honor Carlos' memory. Uma could have Harry helping as they meet new villain kids and struggle to bring them around to Auradon, until a rival kingdom tries to declare war. That would've been a more interesting way to flesh out Uma and Harry, along with the new villain kids.

From what I gathered this movie is involving time travel so that wasn’t Hades son but a teenage Hades and Maleficent. Same with Hook. The Ursula like character is Ursula’s sister, not from the second movie.
That said I am weary about the time travel plot as they are likely going to contradict so many things of both the og movies, even more than the first Descendants movies, AND original Descendants movies but I guess we will wait and see

Technically speaking, biracial kids can be pale and inherit more European genes. However, this is clearly just raceswapping without thinking as they already made Cruella black for no reason, so they thought they could raceswap more characters.

They're different characters to my knowledge, hence the different names
Cinderella was Ella (for example) because they renamed her Cinderella due to her being covered in cinders from cleaning the fireplace
Cinderella is because it wasn't her real name, Her real name has always been Ella, But she got the cinder because she would clean the fire place she'd get covered in cinders.
The Queen of Hearts, the Disney version atleast, Has never been officially named, She's always only been known as either "Queen of Hearts" or "The Red Queen"
As for characters like Hook, I'm assuming that's a nickname, Because his actual name is Captain James Hook, but some people tend to go by their last names though and from everything we've seen, He most likely prefers to go by Hook rather than James, Because he's almost never referred to as James and at most is referred to as "James Hook" or "Captain James Hook"

@@DinosaurNick I’m aware I was a 90’s kid so I grew up with direct to video sequels but from what I have seen Descendants at best sticks to the major movies but anything added later is up to debate

@@DinosaurNick yeah which is why I said they don’t really seem to include sequels. My guess is that they wanted a sister with the U theming who is different from Morgana and something will happen to her, or maybe Morgana is too young to be at the school and Ursula has multiple siblings like in the musical.

@its_little_cookie the world of Descendants is bigger than just the Mal, Evie, Jay, & Carlos. Putting the focus on other characters is a smart choice.On one hand I could understand you not wanting to watch because the original 4 aren't in it even. On the other hand I think saying that this movie is the downfall of Descendants is a bit of a reach especially since you haven't even seen the movie yet. Give it a chance.

If it’s Kenny Ortega it’s gonna be great! I don’t know if I like the whole going into the paste part bc I enjoyed Uma, Harry and Gil. They deserved their own movie finally. But so did Dizzy and Celia. So many things they could have wrapped up! Although Wonderland AND King Arthur with Morgue is a strange choice But I’m excited nonetheless!
