I was in a high school play called Quilters . Out west . My Great Grandma 👵 never let anyone ever leave with out a quilt . Alberta Canada. Quilting is close to my heart . Thanks for doing this .
I love this so much... I saw their quilts exhibited in the SFMOMA when it came through. It had a very emotional impact on me. They are true pieces of art, work and life you can feel resonating from each quilt.
You grow up poor you learn to make do and mend and McGuyver stuff together and make beautiful things the slow way.I hope Gees Bend stays the way it is and the people prosper.🇨🇦♥️
I’m a quilter and I have yet to hand quilt. I send my top to get quilted which is machine quilted. I keep saying I’m going to hand quilt when I retire. Beautiful work🥰
