Anytime my mom goes to the bathroom during the night on a working week day and finds me awake doing smth(anything) - like right now, it’s 0:30 here- she asks me “don’t you have work to go to in the morning?” She never ask “hey, how are you? Are you ok? Or why are you staying up so late?” Though she knows I have a hard time finishing stuff and falling asleep. Not that I could honestly answer her cause she would just make snide remarks or berate me anyway. But this is my life living with my bully of a mother. Why I was in school all she cared was that I went there and came out among the first in school and now she only cares that I at least make enough so she wouldn’t ever have to bother with me, if possible maybe make a little more and pay her back for all the years I’ve leached off of her since birth 😅
