Sat here, day 2 of braces with awful pain in my front teeth if any pressure it applied, sympathising with this woman and also grateful to know its normal. (i was starting to think my teeth would fall out)
It's amazing to me just how weird braces are to wear. I've had mine for over a year now and I laughed to myself when you mentioned not being able to hold the saliva in your mouth very well when you were brushing your teeth. At least I know I'm not the only one.

i get braces on Thursday im so happy but scared of the pain IM SO EXCITED
How exciting! Just be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions😅 but it will all be worth it in the end😊
Is it expensive to get braces in Sweden ? Do you often cook for yourself?
If you are insured you have free dental care until the year you turn 24 and then you can apply for a national dental care subsidy to help pay for the cost
And yes I sometimes cook for myself but mostly lunch, in this video I cooked dinner because my parents weren’t home

It’s going well :) it doesn’t feel as weird anymore
I just had my braces today and it hurts while I eat
I can gladly say that after a week it gets better and you learn how to eat so it doesn’t hurt as much and the best tip I have is to cut the food into smaller pieces

One and a half years, give or take

It took quite some time for my teeth to adjust so don’t try to eat something that’s hard until it’s completely painless

I’m not sure what you mean but I’m from Sweden so if I don’t speak English I speak Swedish in my videos
why did u wait till university to get braces
Well I hadn’t really planned to get braces but I told my dentist that I thought my smile looked crooked and we took some X-rays and it turned out that I had a cross bite that would get worse if I didn’t get braces so that’s the only reason I got them
