16 The Living Daylights (Suite) Orchestrated, arranged, and conducted by Nic Raine Performed by The City of Prague Philharmonic Find me on Twitter: #!/...
Seriously. And it incorporates all three pop songs that were written for the film. There’s a really interesting story about John Barry’s contentious relationship with a-ha during the making of the score.
It's not the original, but it is such an awesome orchestral version of the main theme that I like it actually a lot more than the original A-ha song from the movie. The orchestra does such a great job on this.
3:40 is the theme music associated with Necros, a memorably competent Bond villain. For the original score, see: ua-cam.com/video/R8QZtbFc4KI/v-deo.html.
Nice that they based the theme song to John Barry's arrangement of it in Hercules Takes Off, and If there Was a Man to the alternate end credits on the expanded CD score.
Timothy Dalton is the best Bond. Living Daylight is the best Bond theme. Timothy Dalton was romantic not a sleazy Bond. Living Daylights best Bond movie.
Debatable, but it's certainly up there. I'd say it's tied with the score for OHMSS and that Thunderball's is the best in the series, but certainly at worst it's second or third.
Then nothing is varied enough for you. The beginning is meant to be an orchestral arrangement of The Living Daylights theme, and it's pretty close to the original while only using traditional instruments. And in case you haven't noticed, this is supposed to be a suite of themes from the movie, and they're arranged in a smooth and varied manner.
note that a view to a kill and were is everybody gone composed by john barry alone sounds exactly the same, while the living daylights composed by the controversial colaboration of a-ha with barry sounds different
Pierce Brosnan and Timothy Dalton bond movies were the more epic ones, kinda like a American spy movie, but does not mean it was better just different. Still prefer the classic Brittish Touch.
John Barry's last 007 soundtrack and his most EPIC!!!!!

The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra verion is the best i've ever heard.
The beginning is pure classy bond.
Living Daylights was always Bonds best score out of the series. Good stuff.
First Bond I saw at the cinema and still one of my favourites. Necros Attacks tune is a fantastic villain theme. Keep clear of the main building.
Me too; I liked it so much I actually saw it twice at the theater 35 years ago.
The first part sounds like it could be in a western. Imagine John Wayne gallopping on a horse in the Arizona desert.

Gorgeous music!

wow sounds amazing
One of my fave soundtracks and Bond films :)
I wore this one and the TLD soundtrack out as a kid.
Living Daylights, Barrys last Bond score, but what a score! It's amazing!
Nice that they based the theme song to John Barry's arrangement of it in Hercules Takes Off, and If there Was a Man to the alternate end credits on the expanded CD score.
4:55 Reminds me of Sauron's tune from Lord of the Rings!
It certainly does, yes
I like it
Timothy Dalton is the best Bond. Living Daylight is the best Bond theme. Timothy Dalton was romantic not a sleazy Bond. Living Daylights best Bond movie.
A real spy film.
Demmm beautiful song
Sounds like a western!
JAMES BOND RULES!:D
300th like! Awesome composition!

Amazing! :D
Timothy ♥️♥️♥️
super
I like.
yes is true nice music orchester
I don't think the song is varied enough at the beginning, but it builds up a suitable suspence.

He got....the boot...
@skirm123 perhaps not coincidentally, the last one scored by John Barry.
I watched a 3 minute AIS Thai ad on this video.
Beginning is awesome, but so is the whole song.
Necros Attack :DD

And it can blow out your ears if you not careful.
@skirm123 Cant agree with you more.

1.25x 😏👍🏼
Stick the originals..this sucks...nic raine proves he slows up john barry's tempos. this is bad.
Quit commenting on all the videos. No one cares.
You are such a Troll.... Go away and stay in your little cave!!
It's a direct copy of the living daylights' suite, down to the tempo and everything.
Oh no,a Pleiadian 1999 alien!
your just jealous UFO this is a fact
From 4:31 to 4:50 is the best part
