Damn that is a thorough lesson. Where you at, i cant start my yz450f. Been sitting 5 years, carb is cleaned up new gas, no start.
Check valves and spark plug
Leaking fuel pump can make it foul plugs that's a fouled plug it post be white or light brown ash around tip
Cam chain stretch also

Yeaaas lawddd finally a great video, just bought this Yz and having awful time starting it. Going to check everything out in this video and see if that helps. How can you tell if the timing is off, I couldn’t determine what you meant by the cams being off. ? What markings ?
Did you get it to start up first kick?
I got the same bike mine takes sometimes 3-4 kicks to start up and sometimes on the first I wonder if this is my issue

@@FNVlogs_ I’m having the same issue. I rebuilt the pump and my fuel pressure is good now but I hooked it all back up and I’m still having the leaking problem, curious if anyone knows how to fix that gas leak?
