The constable saw through the effects Joy has on people. So he decides that anyone who manages to escape, he lets them go since he can't capture all of them

I like to think that the thing Arthur said is clearly stating that the truth might be hard and sad, but it is something better than lying, for others and also for himself. I think this dialogue expressed how he learned from his past mistakes (his lies), and also how he realizes that things will get better, thus he smiling in the end.

for me the procedural generation was a bit unnecesary and the game felt repetitive, after finishing Arthur's story and playing a little of Sally's I just couldn't keep going, felt more of a chore than a game, would had been better if they ditched the procedural generation altogether and just made a good solid level design
I don't like how Ollie ends up doing all the job, when Arthur says: "I'm gonna break it for everybody" in the beginning of the game, but ends up escaping.

It was actually the children younger than teens, 13 years old was the cutoff. They wanted them as hostages to prevent the British people from rising up against them. It wasn't a particularly evil act as they would eventually be returned home, if it wasn't for the disastrous war effort against the Soviets. They withdrew the army from Britain because they were needed to defend Germany, they just wanted to ensure that there wouldn't be a new second front by holding the children hostage. Even when they were taking the children they didn't actually have the forces to scare the people, they relied on bases filled with papier mache tanks to make them think that refusing would be pointless. God knows what the state of the world is like outside of Wellington Wells, either the war is still going on, or the Soviets won and either rule Europe, or collapsed as they did in real life.
Soviets couldn't have collapsed by 1964, no matter how violent the war was. Is it stated how much effort the US put into the war, or did they remain isolationist?

There are three DLC campaigns promised, two set outside the main campaign with new playable characters and one that I suspect will be a direct sequel, covering the events after Ollie broadcasting Uncle Jack's last show. Possibly there will also be new playable characters for that one too. FWIW, I would like for there to be a DLC for Arthur meeting up with Sally in the mainland somewhere and the two of them getting involved in the relief efforts in Wellington Wells now the Joy (and the food) has finally run out.

There are three DLC campaigns promised, two set outside the main campaign with new playable characters and one that I suspect will be a direct sequel, covering the events after Ollie broadcasting Uncle Jack's last show. Possibly there will also be new playable characters for that one too.
FWIW, I would like for there to be a DLC for Arthur meeting up with Sally in the mainland somewhere and the two of them getting involved in the relief efforts in Wellington Wells now the Joy (and the food) has finally run out.

I think Arthur is being a little hard on himself. He was only 12, he was a little boy, terrified, because he knew the train wasn’t coming back. He panicked. It wasn’t the right thing to do but he wasn’t the one that put himself in that situation.
