Ever since they started censoring the series I just I don't know anymore. I have not been motivated to care for them in a long time. I don't want to sound like an asshole, but I just don't really care right now. hopefully something changes with Sony but Iffy should just make their stuff exclusive to Nintendo or PC for now.... They never really explained the Chiper homepage, but if you like the right ones, you get a boost in your Shares (which is less of a hassle since you’re focus on one bar). If you like the wrong ones, you get a decrease in Shares. You would probably know which is which if you look closely. Tactical Skills are pretty much has almost all their skills from the mainline games like M.P.B.L. or EX Multi Blaster. I think they even have Heal skills as well. Chain Attacks are sort a way to indicate which party member to swap with, but it is recommended to cycle through your three characters. They didn’t also explain that you can run around Planeptune as well. You can also get request from the people walking there.
Waiting for the localization for the west, of neptunia SvsS.. Let's see until when idea factory remembered. Well, the neptunia x senran kagura came out 1 month later than in Japan
combat is real time your action points recover over time during combat it is setup this way to make you switch between characters use their action points then switch to the next use theirs then switch back to first character all while combo ing between characters and using skills when I was playing the JP version that's what I did and you can set up your attack combos like the other nep games to make combat and switching flow better.
Does the Chain Attack change the battle music to *You Will Know Our Neps!* ? If you get this reference, you get a cookie and a Nopon Dance from the Heropon himself
I really don't mind them experimenting a bit with the combat system. I had a decent amount of fun with Cyberdimension, even if the AI pretty much took a backseat the entire game. If they can find a balance between that and the older Nep games, it could really go well.
Excited for this game, I really like the candidates and the new art looks great, was worried when Tsunako left, or maybe its still her I stopped paying attention. Last few Nep games were disappointing I hope this brings me back into the franchise.

Compile Heart promote this a orthodox spin-off, but at the same time the story has a lot of elements that are from the mainline games like the official site referencing the Ultradimension or that it’s after VII. Heck! When I was watching the first four chapters of the story, it just felt like a mainline game.
It seems like most of the mechanics are extensions of what's been done in previous games...nothing too wildly different, but switched up enough to make it a little fresher for us Neptunia veterans. I've watched some gameplay videos of the Japanese version, and the combat is real-time. They have definitely designed the combat to encourage the player to switch characters and create these chains. So not quite like 4 Godesses' gameplay, but definitely not the turn-based gameplay of the originals. I'm signed up on their email list to get notified whenever pre-orders go online, definitely looking forward to this game!
It does look really fun, and I like the idea of customizing and strategizing a lot. I think the Disk system has a lot of potential, but I just hope it won't make the whole game too easy. I wanna mess around with it and see what fits the best for me if anything. I rather have a more difficult game that can get a little grindy or repetitive but also expects you to use all your abilities to your advantage as opposed to it not really mattering in the end, cause you can just spam your regular attack. That's really the only thing I'm worried about. Game looks great, and I'm really interested in the "Last Goddess" title that Nepgear has. Are they finally letting Nepgear take over? One could only hope Also "Last"? Does this mean Planeptune gets destroyed? That'd be interesting
Considering how Sega stopped making consoles after the Dreamcast, and Neptune is based on the unreleased Sega Neptune, while Nepgear is based on a fictional successor to the Game Gear, I bet it means Planeptune won't have any more CPU Goddesses after Nepgear, since Sega didn't have anything else left concept-wise after the Neptune.

@@NeonIceyy I wonder if it means the series may be approaching the end of the mainline games, like maybe Planeptune starts to deteriorate in the next game, and it is signaling the end of the nation, and nothing can prevent it, it is now time for a new Goddess and nation to fill in for Planeptune, whoever that new Goddess may be, perhaps someone based on Steam, considering how popular it is, and how the Steam Deck (or whatever that portable console to compete with the Switch ) is a thing now.

Especially since we kinda got a taste of that in SNRPG with that game's Planeptune being in ruins already. I always thought they should maybe just reset the timeline and make a new universe they feel comfortable continuing on. With Nep and Gear being regular human characters or ex-goddesses, while still being the main protags.

I had heard/seen that normal encounters are very quick if you know what you’re doing, but the bosses (which takes a lot of hits) and some parts of the game where you force play as one character makes the game a bit interesting.

It's never a bad time to make the Switch. I made the Switch years ago and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.

Day one pick up for me like usual! Hoping the fan service is still here in full effect though. I'm a little worried about that aspect.
