- What a great DUET. I totally expected it from Jongho but San was something else!! He was SO MUCH BETTER than I expected. I thought he would be good but not this good. Technically and emotionally he had fineness in delivering the lyrics and emotions. Respect~

KQ hit the jackpot with these two. They are so strong as individuals, but they also sound so amazing together. I LOVE when they harmonize or sing back and forth in a song.
San is an amazing vocalist but i think his vocals are very underrated most people dont realize how wide his range is & that he is the lead vocal & i think thats because the focus is usually his dancing & stage presence. He is a performance god if you watch their stages he always does something different depending on the mood, how hes dressed & what story he wants to tell. I recommend watching his warriors dance performance & his cover of 'Breath' by lee hi

Thank you for this reaction!! San also constantly amazes me with his technical vocal skills and his ability convey emotion and soul in both singing and in his dancing and performance. I totally agree with you about him being a chameleon as a singer in a lot of ways. I know you focus mostly on vocals but highly recommend watching him perform too! Jongho in this cover was also amazing as usual and I really love listening to them harmonize. They both have other solo covers as well if you want to check them out!

San is very peculiar as a person and in a very good way, he is very charismatic but also very gentle and hard working, I think that reflect in his singing a lot. He is not catholic but he used to sing with church cause they asked him lol and he loved to sing. Let's say we don't use to see that kind of people a lot. Ateez is a group that is very luck cause honestly they put together 8 people that love what they do and are willing to do their best to get better, so they work a lot in improving. Also they work a lot in their acting skills to delivery their music with better perfornances with emotions and facial expression which they are famous for and in the end understand the feelings related to the song is very important to them as a whole and that goes with the way they decide to sing, tones, etc.. of course that is only possible cause there is a lot of training to do that. But yeah, I really love their ability to do so. The other members are also unique in color and way to sing and they really blend perfectly together.
San has a very colorful voice. when he was younger his voice was much higher, but now he has a deeper vocal tone. I would even call it very soulful now. He has a raspy edge to it, but can also do a delicate airy voice. He can also do a strong head voice and mix between each style very well. San's voice really is my favorite!

Actually sannie's vocal cord have bleeding in the past bcoz the wrong technic on reach the high note, but probably bcoz he also got covid twice 😢
Now he already fix this but he said he cannot reach the same high note for their old songs
Pls can we stop mentioning this bc he said he is very ok now and much more versatile with his voice
