  • The revised Consumer Regulations came into effect on 1 April 2024 through the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023. All registered providers of social housing must now deliver the required outcomes and specific expectations set out in the Consumer Standards.
In this webinar, we discuss the revised Consumer Regulations and explore the key considerations for internal audit. This session will include the Regulator’s view of the Consumer Standards and what will be expected, in addition, to the BDO view on the expectations and specifically the focus areas for internal audit. We also explore the expected challenges that registered providers may face in meeting the Consumer Standards and how to overcome them.
