I was waiting for you to drop this one! Wow, though, I knew it would be good, but this looks awesome. I was set on the older Bondi, but they sold out before I could buy it. I think I am sold on this one. I see you reviewed the 8'8", do you think there would be much stability or maneuverability difference between this and the 9'5"?

Its going to effect speed & manoeuvrability & stability a little of course as its a bigger outline board - a good spread of sizes from Hot here to cater for different body sizes and rider abilities. Regards, Will - SUPboarder Team

@@SUPboardermag awesome thank you! I am leaning towards the 9'5" to have a little more stability.

RP Compact surf vs Bondi surf ?

Good question. For pure surfing performance the Bondi is the better board and gives you more ability to get a different feel on the water being able to change Fin set up. But the red is so light it's so easier for throw around and transport. It depends how committed you are to getting the most responsive turning board on the market? Any help thanks Reuben

    Hi,
My daughter would like a SUP to paddle quietly and also enjoys wave surfing (and so do I). Is this SUP also suitable for children around the age of 8?
    Greeting,
    Bart

Hey Bart, My daughter is 10 and is happy to paddle and use it but she does enjoy paddling lighter weight boards for her size. I guess it depends how far she wants to paddle/use it? The lighter board alternative would be a Red Paddle Co compact surf. Any help? Thanks Reuben

Can you comment about how this surfs compared to the new Starboard 8’7” iSup Wedge? Both seem like great boards, and this one is a good bit less $.

Thanks for the comment Nick - I could try an answer your comment here but theres lots to say which we have covered in some other SUPboarder PRO videos - SUPboarder PRO is subscriber site where we have more content behind a small paywall ..... We did a review of the wedge on our PRO channel and also have a full iSUP surf head to head test where there is HUGE amounts of insight to be gained on Surf iSUPS. In the post at SUPboarder for the review of the Bondi there is also a short additional PRO video where we make comparisons to the Starboard board.
