This is by far my favourite rendition. I heard this in a documentary about clocks once and for years couldn't figure out what it was (other than being Händel). Thank you for uploading this gem!
I'm studying the Allemande right now (March 2017) with the aim of memorizing it, which is quite tricky because it is so unpredictable ! My version is from the 1952 RSM pianoforte examinations grade IV, price three shillings (!) and doesn't include some of the ornaments often played. Thanks for the show. I'm sure it will help me.
Ah yes I hear/see it. I've just checked three other versions of this piece on UA-cam (including one by Richter) and they all play the E natural. I'm guessing, therefore, it's this sheet music, not the performance, that's at fault!
Very tasteful playing, I love this version!
I just played this for my recital a couple of weeks ago.
Just for the love of music...i love this interpretation!
A genius playing another
Loved it! So beautifully played! Another of my favorite Handel keyboard pieces is Suite in B flat major HWV 434.

Handle would be impressed.

Not a pianist but an artist.
There is a false note at 00:10 where the E should be E flat, according to the score at here imslp.org/wiki/Suite,_HWV_452_(Handel,_George_Frideric)
Thanks, can you point out where the correct notes are?
