Follow along as we embark on the refurbishment of our new office. In this episode Sophie visits the office during the first week of construction where the contractor has stripped out a lot of the hard finishes and she shares the flooring, wall finish, and a lot of the hard finishes, products and suppliers that will be used in the new design. Sophie also shares an up close and personal look at the designs for the office on her desktop where you can see the drawings and moodboards she developed and worked on with her team using Milanote.

I am so excited about your new space. The choices that you made I’m absolutely in love with. The large tile designed piece as the example was a big wow and the herringbone carpet goes perfectly. I am loving what you’re doing in every space especially the first bathroom that you showed with the oak leaves. In love with that and the rich tones. I cannot wait to see your final product with us. That floor parquet tile was used in a home recently shown on Luxury Homes UK channel here with Hannah the presenter is a lovely tile and works in situ as well. Love all the ideas. I hope plants will also be incorporated until your landscaping is done even a couple of planters by the door would look nice. I imagine natural tone office furnishings and chairs and sofas. Some prints or paintings as well to give some colour. I actually assumed the upstairs would be your office ;) will you have an awning or canopy at the door?

I’ve watched a number of your videos and finally subscribed - I don’t subscribe to any other designer. Lots of people do beautiful work but you and your team design spectacular homes. Incredibly elegant and sophisticated regardless of the clients’ design style. Your attention to details and letting us know your design philosophy and reasonings are so enlightening and interesting. The items you feature are well out of my price range but there are plenty of well off potential clients and magazine editors who also scroll through UA-cam and I want them to see your work. Your luxurious designs also have an eye for practicality/functionality because your clients still want to LIVE there. (You hid an air conditioning unit/vent inside the most beautiful antique looking custom table/dresser in a hallway! It was so well done that no one would know)
And you are a designers’ designer. I’ve noticed that a lot of other interior designers watch your videos and are in high praise of your style and thoughtfulness. (Which this video’s sponsor should be happy to know).
Each home is tastefully distinct and charming with a hint of whimsy.
To me, you have an engineering mind with a designer eye. If I gave all the compliments you deserved, this comment would be even more tediously long.

Hello Sophie, I love your videos and watch them all the time. After having seen so many of your videos I feel that to a degree I know your taste. I just watched a video that I think you might enjoy. The You Tuber is just a regular lady (albeit, one with a substantial income) and she just finished remodeling and redecorating her London home. She is not a designer, so of course her attempt does not match your work, but none the less I think she did an incredible job for a lay person. As it is in London, I thought perhaps you might know her. Her You Tube channel is called simply Mimi Bouchard and it is her most recent video. You didn’t discuss interior lighting, I saw existing pendants upstairs and really nice sconces downstairs. If you change out the sconces I’d be happy to be the old ones from you, they were really nice, love the grey glass. Looking forward to the reveal.

It's not a five-star hotel, but I agree with your inclination to make it a five-star office! I think you should look at it as an investment, because your clients will want to know what they're getting into and this may be the first representation they see IRL.
