I’ll eventually post a video on proper gain staging/mixing for low end. Though, you’re right, typically you want to start mixing at low volumes and work your way up. I typically throw a reference track I like into Span (free plug in) and start to match the frequencies there on a song that’s professionally mixed.
For the most part yes. You def don’t want a big room build up lol. You can even use endless smile in some cases. Just don’t go overboard with the intensity and look through the presets that fit best. Shoot, I can probably make a video on this too haha
@@croco.nation yeah I've tried snare build ups and other stuff like that, but they sound too intense maybe ill try just endless smile on low intensity.
I used an a tool/website called Fadr to separate the instruments and vocals. Though, it didn’t get me the best results. I also just get my vocals from Splice since I’m no Marco Antonio Solis and can’t sing 😅
Solid video bro
fire content bro
Thank you bro🙏🏼. Check your insta DM porfa
Does anyone know how to get that shorter tighter effect on the hats but on fl studio?
You can try reducing the release or length section in your drum/ channel rack on FL.
@@croco.nation I’ll look into that thanks bro.
@@croco.nation that shorter / tighter effect is crucial for these type of Latin house tracks.
@@croco.nationI looked into it and you can use a transient shaper to get this effect. The KHS one is free.
The Tijuana/Hong Kong joke lololol
I had to 😂
What level should your kick and bass be on these type of tracks? I feel like my kick and bass is overpowered sometimes if I go above like -6.

How do you suggest going about the build up on these type of tracks? Just minimal EQ sweep?

Doing a candy mix by plan b any tutorial on how to half time it cause they sound too fast
Dope! I don't have a tutorial on that rn but that's not a bad idea. I will most likely cook something up and post
There should be a /2 option in ableton under the warp settings.
hey@@croco.nation I just bought the new volume pack but I still haven't received anything.
@@andyrodxguezI’m sorry to hear you’re having issues. Let me work on getting that fixed for you by end of day. I’ll send you an email shortly
@@croco.nation no need actually! Sorry I just received it rn! Thank you for the fast reply!!
