Glad to be of help mate, I love making these spotlights so people can get an idea of what they're in for when they get there. Or even maybe not go there. Cheers Steve
@@MudducksTouringAustralia Thanks mate. These spotlights are awesome. There are grounds that look good on paper (or website) but terrible in reality. Likewise some have terrible press but are the most awesome campground. Nice to see you do the good as well as the bad ones too.
I remember camping any where there and taking old $20 lounges up for the weekend which then became the last nights bonfire. Ahhh the good old days lol. Cheers Steve
I see someone finally got around to the Myall lakes. Lovely place isn’t it. I camped at the wells on my video there a few months back. It happens to be the second most popular video on my channel which is awesome. I see you didn’t start swimming to some of the ones I went to haha. Nice video as always Steve. Cheers -Ryan
I reckon post Covid the NPWS will maintain pre booking of sites. Guarantees they get thier camping fees that way. Makes sense tbh. Its a very popular campsite and with the lake, beach walking tracks right there its easy to understand why.
Been wanting to get up that way and check it out. Ive heard of spots on the Myall Lakes where you can literally camp on the waters edge so would love to find them and set up for a swimming/fishing weekend. Also why wouldt you use a 200 series? Because its not a Pajero lol... Given the Paj does have a lower tow limit but give me a Paj over a Cruiser any day lol....
Being in Victoria and a it spoilt for "Free Camping" locations I quote often see people in NSW talking about "National Parks" and "Self contained grey water catchment"....watching this walk thru I see lots of tent campers and many older caravans that wouldnt have "grey water" tanks or storage? Is the "self contained/grey water catchment" a real issue or does it differ from location to location?
It defiantly differs from location to location mate. I still have not encountered too many that state you must catch grey water but Im sure that day is coming. Cheers Steve
Thanks for this spotlight Steve. Added this one to my list to go.

Yes John I guess we're lucky that way, but I still cant wait to get to WA. Cheers Steve
Another great spot one day we will have to check out all of these places that don’t like our fur child
Yes that's a problem Steve for sure mate. Cheers Steve
I miss the old days when you could camp anywhere and the Rutile Rd was still open to Seal Rocks.

I agree Scott and I have no real problem with that, what I disagree with is paying to book free camp sites. Cheers Steve
@@MudducksTouringAustralia as in the $6 booking fee? I get where ya coming from. It certainly means no such thing as a free NPWS campsite anymore.
@@scottroygbiv Yep Cheers
