Me too, although I'm not a fan of the government of Iran, I'm a big fan of ancient Persia and Persian culture. I love Cyrus II the great, Emperor Cyrus that is. On of the staff members where I live is a Pakistani, he knows a lot about history and religion, I know a lot about science and we have some right good conversations! At lest I know the difference between each group in the middle east, most people just think their all the same, whereas their very different, especially Persia and Arabia.
Must be down to the Persian influence, the Persian conquered parts of Greece and some Greek cites even wanted the Persians to rule, don't believe the BS you see in the films, Persians were strong people, even the Arabs commented on their fighting prowess! I LOVE history. Ever heard of Emperor Cyrus the great II?
