Are there any sets still for purchase?
Will these work if you sorta.... play an instrument but can't decide on where to even start making music. Should i just hum out a melody? Never mind what sounds to use or mastering effects.
Yes, the cards were designed for just that. You can pick an exercise and the cards will give you ideas that you can start from.
When I hear MPC, I think something else, y'know what I'm saying. I learned it from Hip-Hop.

@@abhinv9920 Okay, I checked it, it's kinda both. Before the MPC1000 the M stands for MIDI. After that, Music. It has to do with the fact, that there were technological advancements, so MIDI wasn't the only thing it could handle. 😊

Hey guys, is there somebody who'd like to sell it? I'd gladly buy. Please let me know!
My decks arrived a few days ago. I badly need better and more comprehensive instructions than those included in the little booklet. Particularly the perforated rhythm cards are hard to understand. What's in the holes at the bottom. The kick? The instructions don't explicitly say anyting about this. If it is indeed the kick I find it to be very strange with very few cards having a kick note on the first beat of the bar. Unlike most songs out there.
Please, quickly make a series of UA-cam instructions telling us clearly about the details of decks. I can see they has great potential and can be used in many different ways. But that only makes it more important improve the instructions. I would also happily buy a video course about songwriting based on these decks.
