I tried this but by throwing an enemy into John in Oregano Desert and it turned the hub to what it is in CTOP (without any levels enterable and the characters that follow you during the escape being visible) but there wasn't any timer and so John blocks weren't toggled. Certainly weird.
Pretty sure ctop functions differently from normal pizza time so that’s why you can’t do it with normal John. The only real reason we die is to get out of bounds to start it earlier, and even then it won’t work if the pizzaface boss gate isn’t open.

I think this should be allowed in speedruns as its own category. Since you're breaking the game without fighting the final boss or unlocking its gate which lowers the money and time requirements too much to be considered into a normal speedrun.
@@CrisRipperit shouldn't be? The regular category already uses glitches to skip things like the results screen, why should this glitch be out of access? If anything glitchless should be it's own category

I personaly just noclip trough the wall to the right ti get there but thats a fun glitch wont be use full for 101% no debug holy shit runs tho or any type of debug mode run but thats to be expected
You can't, the game doesn't let you with the war timer, maybe because the war gate has a variable that makes it available to exit, while the normal gates dont

no it doesn't, but the game will loop the animation of peppino entering the door until he dies. he then respawns outside the level.
