Supporting musicians in Tanzania: Daraja Music Initiative & Schmitt Music

Last year, Schmitt Music donated instruments and accessories to Daraja Music Initiative, an interdisciplinary program that bridges the gap of music education and conservation education. Some members of our team were able to talk to the founder, Michele Von Haugg, and executive director, Katherine Palmer, about what their program looks like in Tanzania and how these instruments will be used.
