I know the anatomy of majority of birds in my area. Know how to paint. I do not always paint First my background. For me I search, the areas the specie of bird lives in. Reason why, the bird is I want to do is reliable, but where it breeds, the surrounding colors change where they are seen, and harder for me to get in the Lady Slippers, Fire Pinks, Trillium the bird may breed in. I like your brush strokes, bit too fast for beginners, to know the placement of the feathers.in the wings, body shape. Enjoy that you give the European Robin information about it. I am 75 doing once again what I had done when younger, now that I have the time, and art supplies. Past all supplies were stolen. and notes.
Your painting is absolutely beautiful. Loved the way you described what you were doing with all your tips. I am inspired! I hope you make some more videos, I just found your channel and know I will smash through your uploads in no time. (:
Thanks for the video. Very helpful! just so you know... Your description says this video is on how to paint the figure of a girl ... There's a little typo in there.
Great piece. I really like how bold and saturated your colors are. The highlight work and light sourcing are very well done. Awesome work, keep it up :) -Best of luck on your art and your channel, and much support from one artist to another. Liked and subbed.
Hi! Your painting was beautiful! I loved how the bird gradually came to life! I had a question for you that I hope you can help me with. I really liked your layering and the colors you chose. I'm thinking of painting a scissor-tailed fly catcher on a project I'm working on for someone. I've painted before, but I am in no way an expert. What colors would you reccomend for this bird??? Thanks!
Thanks for lovely words...most importantly this vedio helped you.. Tail should be a mixture of ivory black+prussian blue and zinc white. Head area titaniym white and off course shadow. Also body area should be a mix of orange+burnt umber..may be little late to reply..also you can check out my latest bird painting..you will get more clue..
Wow it’s so beautiful. Love all the colors. Could you please posted what colors you used it. I am a biggner. I would like to see what color you mixed it. I will appreciated. I donot see bottom description. Thank you for nice tutorial. I want to practice but I donot know which color I use it. Than you again. your painting is really inspiring.
Sap green, burnt Sienna, burnt umber, cadmium red, titanium white, zinc white, imperial blue, ivory black, yellow ocre, orange part is a mix of cad red + lemon yellow..hope that helps...and all the best......

What is mixed with acrylic colours for the background of paper ? I mix pls reply but it doesn't make proper texture
I’d like to try a flamingo head but I’m afraid to start. So many orange and pink colors its intimidating. Ideas?
