So I just went back to find one of these since I’ve finally picked him up and lo and behold…my man CC has one ready for me! Thanks a ton for this. the addition of a Matt black finish before dry brushing and matte spray, was something I hadn’t even considered.
It’s crazy because those who watch the show, notice these differences and they are so small but are game changers, great stuff man and was looking to do something similar with custom stormtroopers

What type of black style paint did you use? Im used to running acrylics on my models but with these figures I’m redesigning and customizing, having issues with choices that won’t wear or smear easily

BTW how do you paint the blue dashed lines on side cheek parts of the phase 2 clone helmets.
Probably not the answer u want but I try to use the thinnest brush I can get and just paint patiently and lots of times I have to repaint areas

Where did you get the 3D files for the hands and shoulder pads?
For the shoulder pads I just used some spare stormtrooper shoulder pads and for the hands I got those from kaminoancloners on etsy
