I have noticed a pattern with respect to drivers that have vanity tags. They have a tendency to drive like they 'think' they own-the-road. To me, vanity tags are pretentious and a irresponsible waste of money. When I casually notice a vanity tag, I deliberately look away as the only time I want to know ANYTHING about a fellow driver is if they plow into me.
