Hi everyone. I know this vid is prob for some but it is not for me what helped me out is starting my pci inside anchor. Now with swinging early I still struggle especially on all star. I always struggle when season resets but hall fame is what I recommend playing on when you are on road to show. It is actually so easy to get use to.
Im a right handed center fielder. When going against a lefty pitcher i pull my pci down and in. When facing a fellow righty i go down and out to start. If the pitcher has a strong slider i usually pick that. I tend to get doubles on fast balls or fouls, but when that slider comes i rip it every time. The ones that throw me off are the ones with strong 4 seam fast ball, 2 seam fast ball, and slurve or circle change up. Usually pop up on those pitchers or hit into double plays. Granted i play on hall of fame not beginner like his settings are set for. I use strikezone, starfighter with diamon center and none for the other option.
One thing that always worked for me was just having an approach like whenever the defense is shifted for a lefty I always wait for an outside pitch if he gets two strikes I’ll start swinging other than that I stick to one approach and it’s been working for me pretty well

This will be funny, but what does hitting against the shift mean, my beautiful people? I love the game, but batting gets the best of me still trying to figure out my style. On another note when I hit with A certain player for example Manny Machado I track the ball comfortably If I want hit to with somebody else like let’s say Altuve My timing won’t be the same, my PCI tracking won't be as comfortable as if I’m tracking the ball with Manny Machado idk it's weird 😕
What does hitting against the shift mean tho?
@@kevinalloway4954 it means: the out fielders are moving left or right field let’s say that Aaron judge was hitting and the outfield moved five steps to the left because he always hits left field. get it?

Would you still use the PCI from 21 where it’s just the star fighter on the outer? I used to use that one on 21 and rip the ball. I feel like it’s harder this year though.

My timing is terrible I just can’t move my hands quick enough to get to 101 fastballs
Practice will make em feel slower. Could also be your setup that has a little delay so it feels faster
@@RedMambaYT I’ve been practicing and I already got 2 wins in the event thank you. This has really helped me by putting my pci up by the pitcher and following it. I still get a little swing happy tho

Im a timing hitter..I was soo worried that directional was the official way,and thought I should immediately learned how to hit directional..but,fck that..I'm a damn good hitter on timing..anyone else agree??

What swing do u use? Power or normal
Usually normal. If I’m hitting bad or behind in the count I’ll use contact sometimes.

Only video that actually helped me right away, was so much easier tracking pitches esp sliders. I just added wedge to the pci bc it gives me a lil more room for error but I’m playing 10x better now 😂🤝
