The Bill opening titles 1985-1987 (series 2-3)

These titles were used for series 2 and 3, broadcast from 11 November 1985 to 7 December 1987. Theme music is titled "Overkill" and is composed by Andy Pask and Charlie Morgan.

I’m not sure who the driver is. Some people think it looks like Bob Cryer, other people think it’s Jim Carver.
I personally think it looks like Cryer, but... neither Cryer or Carver are qualified to drive a Rover SD1, since it’s exclusively used as an “Area Car”.
It would have to be either PC Steve Loxton or PC Tony Stamp. It doesn’t appear to be either of them.
It could well be an actual police car used in the opening credits since it’s filmed in traffic on a public road and has the blue light flashing.
